So, you want a tab too. Your tab is going to be 13mm. You'll also have one flap to fold around the end of your opposing tab to keep it in place. So, you have two tabs each 13mm plus one flap which is 7mm.
Recap.:
Total Length of Ring Strip = Circumference + 2(Tab) + Flap
Total Length of Ring Strip = 307.092mm + 2(13mm) + 7mm = 340.092mm
Total Length of Ring Strip = 340.092mm
Cut your ring strip to 340.092mm in length. Now, mark off a line 13mm from left end of strip; mark off line 7mm from right end of strip; now mark off another line 13mm behind the 7mm mark on right side of strip.
Now that you have your strip marked where you are going to make your bends, it's time to radius the strip. Make sure all your marks are on the outside of where you plan to put your radius. Now grip one end of your strip with a vice grip and put the other end around a steel pole and connect the other end of the strip to another vice grip. Now pull the vice grips back and forth at least 10 times with the round pole putting a radius on the side of the strip you intended to radius. Now disconnect your vice grips and put a 90 degree bend to the left end of your strip where you marked it. Now put a 90 degree bend on the other side of the strip at inside mark 13mm back from the 7mm mark on the right side of the strip. Now put about a 30 degree bend on the line at the right side for the 7mm flap. Fold the two tabs together and lock them in place with the 7mm flap at the right side. Now when you have everything in place pinch the flap down tight to hold both flaps very securely. Your Ring is done and ready to attach to your assembly.

The best ground you can have is copper or BRASS rod, not steel.
Steel will short circuit magnetic current instead of allowing it to flow.
]However, when stating the wire then GOES TO GROUND, we need to expand on just WHAT TYPE of ground. We DO NOT use a standard electrical ground rod that is copper-coated steel. The ground rod should be the same thickness and distance into the ground as an electrical ground rod BUT it should be made of a copper/brass metal combination. Magnetic current tends to GRAB the steel part of the electrical rod that then STOPS THE FLOW causing what could be called a magnetic short circuit.

My outer tube is warped and not consistent, so I screwed up the inside diameter of my ring again. I'll have to make another. I'm getting good at making nice looking rings, but the last two tries haven't been to gap specs I was hoping for. I measured the flask in the wrong places I guess because the mathmatics was good.
I just missed you when you called earlier. Just hang in there a little longer when you call and I'll pickup. I have caller ID and I like to know who's calling and I can't see without my glasses, so by the time I got my glasses you were gone.
Here are pics of my IKEA setup. I will have some insulation between the ring holder and stainless steel screw clamp that will isolate it from the flask. Once I have my ring just like I want it, I'll get rid of the screw clamp and epoxy the holder in place to the side of the flask. The screw clamp will interfere with the ability of the flask to move, vibrate, like it should, so it is only temporary.
