    There are large operating commerical "electrode boilers" that use similar principles, at very nearly 100% efficiency:

    Electrode boilers utilize the conductive and resistive properties of water to carry electric current and generate steam. An a.c. current flows from an electrode of one phase, through neutral, to an electrode of another phase using water as the conductor. Since the water has electrical resistance, this current flow generates heat directly in the water itself. The more current (amps) that flows, the more steam produced. 100% of the electrical energy is converted into heat with no stack or heat transfer losses.

    Low water protection is absolute since the absence of water prevents current from flowing and the electrode boiler from producing steam. Unlike conventional resistance type electric boilers or fossil fuel boilers, nothing in the electrode boiler is at a higher temperature than the water itself. If scaling should occur in the boiler, it will electrically insulate the electrodes, which reduces current flow and boiler output. There is no loss in conversion efficiency however, and , simply cleaning the electrodes will restore full boiler capacity. There can be no heat buildup in the electrodes, therefore, no electrode burnout, and no danger to the boiler itself.

    Such a company might be interested in "super-efficient" mods to their product... hint to DaemonBart and Prof. Savic and others. And note that the engineering is already in place for these "electrode boilers".

    At the same time, my main approach here is to make the new technology available to all mankind freely; I like open source. And I emphasize the needs of families in developing countries. I have sent emails to two humanitarian groups hoping that they will collaborate and help in all this... no word back yet, except from one that said they are considering it. (But it is the holidays.)

    Yes, there is a hole in the bottom to release steam.

    If I'm right we would end up with ultrasonic device consuming only a few watts exactly like in WITTS video. There would be no need for steam between electrodes because ultrasonic vibrations would propagate in water directly bouncing between walls of the best shpe which is ball.

    Here is what I learned so far fighting with beer can.

    There is a huge pain trying to find resonant frequency of can using computer sound card. You have to use laptop running on battery but unfortunately mine is broken. On stationary computer with ordinary sound card (cheap one) there is too much interference from 50Hz grid hum from transformer inside computer.

    There is a problem to convince any craftsman to make cheaply a cap or two for this device with precision and from thin SS metal sheet. This is simply unprofitable for anyone. Fortunately I followed Slovenia advice and bought some cheap SS thermoses 0.75L and found that cover has almost the right diameter. The only thing left is to polish it down to 0.2 mm thickness. At least I would try, need to make some differences from original schematic though.

    If you looked at video of singing bowl there is a magic moment there. Water and bowl is kept silent and everything looked as in first seconds of video but there is tremendous difference. Once he is starting to rub bowl again water is energized in matter of seconds ! Look at cavitation bubbles in center !

    So here is a proof that it's acoustic device. Exactly the same could be done with beer can with incredible results, the only glitch is the water, because it's supposed to work under water completely which changes resonant frequency.There is however steam produced between beer can and cap which give me hope that it works acoustically anyway.

    Stats on Professor Savic Peter Davey Device

    Last night I measured the vapor sonic boiler with the electrode in the form of a ball and cup at the top. The ball resonates at 900 Hz and 400 Hz in the cup with maximum current of 3.6 Amp and 1.2 Amp minimum. The voltage was 228 V; vapor 53.9 g during grejanja.360 seconds. The initial amount of water in 298ml Court; the initial water temperature 20 degrees Celsius, and final temperature of 100 degrees. COP = 2.25 Celsius
    NOTE, I did not take into account the heat capacity of the heater and the court or the emission of heat from the court.. So COP is greater than this number.
    No electrodes inside the ball as the originals because they have no hard steel so that it could be as at 0.1mm. This further increases to 2:57.
    The ball is in my cup the positive electrode and negative.
