We used paypal to xfer money as needed, worked great, just need the email addresses. Folks will have to send him the gerber files found on my dropbox here formatted for Oshpark. His site does 2-layer boards, while the PWM MD5.1 is just single layer, so you have to adjust the file names and dupe one out for a false second layer. He intends to offer them so they can be purchased without the submission of the gerber files any time now with a redesign of his web site. Here are all the layers:

    Wire traces:

    Drill Holes:

    Copper Masks:

    Component Info:

    All assembled layers:

Any questions, glad to help, will let everyone know when they can be ordered directly. Recommend teaming up though, may be best way to cut costs to get the intermediate production level...

Breaking! John Stone MONSTER DRIVER Boards may now be available at OSHPark without upload under the Shared Projects link!!!

I just shared it out so I assume it will soon be processed as available. Probably have to order in lots of 3 at $56... Update: This apparently did not work at the site, Jim is looking into it, so he put it in the store

New Info: Driver available in the OP STORE OSHPark John Stone Monster Driver V5.1

Hello my dear friend Sampojo. Thanks for the info. Sorry I was not able to reply sooner. The website OSH Park ~ Welcome is accessible OK. I think they are located in US, I am not sure as of now.

    Again many thanks

    Warmest Regards All

OK I admit my error at board size. Thanks for hint. But advantages of Eagle sytem are exciting and in the rare case we need more size we can make two boards and concatenate them.

    Eagle

For further layouts we shall switch to Eagle: worldwide freeware for small boards (100mm*160mm, 2 layer copper), available for WIN/Linux/ Mac, extent libs, I/F for simulations (LT Spice) including circuit transfer in both directions, direct Eagle I/F to oshpark. Please note: Sometimes we have ideal conditions! We should searchand focus to them in order to be aware.

If yes -> it would be heplful to add the wire bridges on top side as copper. Addionally to add all circuitry from FET driver to right hand side - top copper identical to bottom copper in order to foster current flow.

Alternatively we could do both copper sides identically and still add wire bridges (could be most simple procedure)

Hey John Stone, i am sure as time goes on, we will perfect this, and adapt, this first Monster to the living conditions, i has been born into.

Every step we take is just getting started.

I am also sure Sampojo can enlighten you on the procedure he used to get this board produced.

    The Future is ours, Friend,

    Warm Regards Cornboy.

    Ready to Go.

Hey UFO, the boards Sampo did, are Perforated, ready to just solder in your parts.

I am waiting on the last parts, and then i will populate, and test, one.

Still working on my commutators, had to order special tiny allen head screws, no one had them in stock.

    Warm regards, Cornboy.

Since I edited in the new link in post 2253 for the OSHpark Monster Driver and it may be missed I put it here also.

looks like $15 per board, 3 per lot?

I trust Ufo to jump on this and put it on his website!

    Hello Sam Po Joe...,

Great and excellent work my friend!!

I will put it on "OUR" Site...it is not mine...You guys are "Populating it", little by little... with your great work!

Now, one thing to clear up here...

Fifteen (15.00) USD is per One Monster Board?...So We will need Four times $15.00=$60.00...Am I correct?

Please let me know here, since I want every detail posted on site.

On another question...Do they need to be "perforated"?...meaning drilled?

Thanks, and really appreciate your work putting all this together for Us!

    The Boards look excellent friend!

    Kind Regards

sounds good to me one question though?
Did you duplicate the First layer to make the second layer the same as the first so as to some extent mimic extra solder,

    Kindest Regards

Addon to my recent post regarding MY10xx motor mod.
Found a place at photbucket where laser joe did exactly what I suggested - except he did not cut the motor housings. He posted in this forum May 15 this year. Unfortunately he posted no results of his conversion.

    Hi Kogs,
Unfortunately I can not know how you connected your oscillator to opto of monster driver. Can you post please a schematic of your oscillator or a link to the ebay offer. I will instruct you how to connect.

(@ALL: It would be great help for helpers if you could forward some basic schematics of your setups)

Regarding small bearing at commutator side please regard my recent post

My Monster 5.1's work great thanks for your designing of them
My 1000w motor has larger bearings on the shaft side and my motors have the same longer magnets. I am getting my engineering friend to make a new shaft that is the same size to fit the bearings on the commutator end and continue or rather extend the shaft at both ends so I can use either end to drive the tricycle it will be used in at the moment the thread is ccw I will have cw one end and ccw the other. The wiring of the armature is .8mm diam. I have some wire but it has/is used in other coils and they were litzed and therefore if I stretch them to make then straight they will be thinner so I ordered .8mm from off EBay it is coming from the US I imagine I will have it within the next week or two by then I will have the motor Mods finished.

One Question my friend about your monsters Please can I use them in place of the Mosfets in the "Happy Motor Circuit" I did try them 3 times with an Oscillator I purchased on EBay but they the Oscillators became defunct.
Please I would like your opinion regarding this when you have time

    Kindest Regards

    Kogs still working at it

    @ Kogs
What voltage were you putting out in the oscillators, what general frequency range and were you going thru the SFH617-3 Opto on monster board? Bob French and I went thru a number of Ebay units while not using the opto's as they really have no on board protection are picky about voltage source.
