    Sliding Ring??

    Hi Chet,

I see what you're doing with your ring. It looks nice.

As for sliding ring scenario, I asked about that too. It's not necessary. It just needs to be stationed close to the end of the open face of the can with maybe up to 1/8" of can sticking past it but not much more. I've done the can even with the top and it doesn't seem to make much difference at all. I don't see anything wrong with your experiment, but I think Mr. "C" has already done all that experimentation for us.

    Best Regards,
    Slovenia

I don't have the proper tools here for a perfect ring so its all grinders!!
Also "T Rex 2" can't really do anything yet But learn [apprentice] and post Pics

However That will change once we get this going and start trying to Up efficiency !!
I will probably end up calling him T............

    Thanks

    Hi Ares123,

You've made your presence known now, so don't be shy. I can sense you have some intellect. Show us what you got. Most of the guys sharing here are heavy duty dudes building something and we have a lot of expertise here even though we haven't been tooting our own horns.

You are not talking T-Rex as in Mr. Dollard are you?? If so, you are connected very well indeed. I see the #2 on the end of T-Rex, so probably another fella. He knows how to post pics well.

    Mr. "C" US Specifications

    Hi Chet,

Yes, the height of the ring should be 10mm for US & 5mm for Europe; the gap should be 2.52mm for US; and the thickness should be .2mm for Europe & US.

    Best Regards,
    Slovenia

    Can dimensions
    Diameter 72.8 MM

    Usable length 180 MM

Slovenia the reason I switched to the Can ??

    The professor is building too.........
So my ring height will be 10 MM? my gap 2.52??

I posted a pic of your pipe/ring spreader !![Heh Heh]

Mine is 3.5 hrs away at home !! [3 days out]

    I guess I'll go make a 2.52 ring x 10 MM height

    Looking good!

    I wish you good luck!

Remember there is risk for eating aluminum from can, why.. dont really know yet?

I have experiensed that when not tuned to resonance I have little HHO, and nothing of hho in resonace mode!

Dont be afraid of swithing to stainless, works good and keep you warm while tuning Professors setup to perfection!

    Best rgds D

    10mm Wide Ring US

    Hi Chet,

He didn't explain it that way. I think he was thinking of our mains at 220 volts here in US and not 110 volts. According to him, the 220 volts is optimum for the boiler in US. I plan on trying it with 110 volts though myself. I'm not ready to fool around with 220 volts yet myself.

He's using some sort of device called a hammer to test the ring frequency and I think he referred to it as a frequency meter. It's not the kind of hammer you use to hit a nail.

Yes, Mr. "C" is very kind to take the time to experiment and share with us. Someone of his stature in most parts of the world wouldn't share especially in US.

    Best Regards,
    Slovenia

    Mr. "C" Update

He's been building a US boiler too. He said he had a few problems and had to make some changes with regard to the ring height on the US sonic boiler. He recommends a height of 10mm instead of 5mm. If your can is tuned to exactly 60 Hz and the thickness of your ring is .2mm then your boiler will play at 320 Hz in USA.

    Chet,
You need to change the height of your ring to 10mm!!

European boiler ring is still height of 5mm!!
