    Nice Chap

He's a very nice chap. He's the most up front contact I've ever had. Most of my previous contacts just strung me a long for several months with all kinds of incredible claims and then didn't give me enough information for a replication. This happened to me really bad on the D18/Oz Nitro Cell. We had at least 400 really ticked off replicators on that cell. Mr. "C" has been a stand-up guy and shared a lot more than the rest.

These Inventor Types can be So "strange" ,very hard to make happy !!
Fabulous men ,But hard to work with !!
I am Amazed that you have been able to do this !!

    PVC Pipe

When I have my proof of concept working, I'm going to build my can and ring into a 4 or 5 inch pvc pipe. I'm more interested in the hydrogen than the heat at this point but we'll see. Steam has a lot of applications too.

    "L" Frame Prototype

    Hi Chet,
According to Mr. "C", the can and ring are attached within a boiler assembly like in his diagram. My "L" frame assembly is just for testing purposes only. I just needed something to attach everything to so I could put it into a 5 gal. pail of water and test it. For this to work properly, we are ultimately going to have to enclose it in a boiling tank of some kind like was done by Mr. "C".

Thanks for your support. I need it.

P.S.: When I have my prototype working maybe I can get some more info from the authority.

    Best Regards,
    Slovenia

Yes ,I believe the "Patience of a saint" will be required to do this the way Mr. C has said!!
We both know its Doable But ??

The temptation to add "Tensioners" of some sort to the ring is hard to resist ?

Mr C could just be showing us "How Good He is" [Skills].

I plan to use A High density plastic for my frame, a product called Starboard
that my boat yard customer uses on Trailers [between the boat and the float on trailer]
The reason being once i get the Ring set properly [as close as possible]
I plan on lowering it into a pail ,plugging it in and taking measurements.

I feel the plastic will behave it self in the water [no warping, swelling ETC].
Worrying about the Manifold at this point IMO Is "Pointless"!

Buddy your Work is Priceless to me!! [and other replicators I'm sure]

    Corrections

Well, I have learned a few things since assembling this boiler assembly.

    Ring Material & Design:
1.) The ring material and mounting material need to be of very rigid construction. The steel tin just doesn't make it at all. I was looking for a quick fix and it didn't make the grade even though it was very easy to work with. Support frames for the rings are going to either have to be welded; riveted; or bolted together. This puppy needs to be thin and strong.

    Can Insulator Connector:
2.) There is a certain amount of wobble once the can is mounted because of the thin material on the base of the can and the domed base. You need a wider insulator than I initially figured on of say at least 1 inch in wide to help support the can. The insulators need to be cut perfectly flat and you will need a nice 1 - 1.5 inch washed on the inside of the can between the nut and the can to help support the can in as straight a manner as possible against the insulator. The can needs all the support it can get because it has a tendency to want to wobble off center in either one direction or another and the ring gap is so close you just can't have that.

    Super Glue

The super glue welds the joints together very well without dampening the material. It's like a permanent bond. This is what I used when I joined my two cans together to get a 200 mm cup. Once you put these things together, you don't want your cans coming apart during operation.

My perpetyal though is to effectively and cheaply heat my home ! That was my number one idea Ever !
Now I might find solution and it's this sonic boiler combined with nice Kapanadze electric generator with just tiny 2.5kW output.
2.5kW times 12 COP means I would get effectively around 30kW HEAT OUTPUT, while I need 16-20kW (that's what I use now , small coal burner 16kW).
    Let's do it !

    @ewizard
can you post any picture of this solution ?

It appears there is a type of plastic for the feed through and one that obviously can withstand boiling water temperatures. I would guess a distiller manufacturer might be able to tell you what it is if you can't find it with Google.

Keep up the good work guys. Wish I had more time for this now.

Funny how you hit the nail on the head over here!!
Same problem .....My Wife! Well she's not a problem I'm crazy about her,
But she sees this work as a distraction .

    I don't think we're alone either .

She came with me on this trip to NY and Tomorrow I'm Stopping in the Bronx to look for Russian beer cans

    Finished Build

    Hi Chet,

If everything goes well tomorrow, I should have a finished build to show you by COB. I got a lot done on it today. Some household chores have been cutting into this project and I'm sorry for that. The wife has seen me waste a lot of time and money on alternate fuel projects in the last ten years and she doesn't share my interest with alternate fuel. Anyway, I will try to have everything put together by tomorrow evening. I may still have to do some tuning on my cans, but everything else should be assembled by then hopefully.

I came up with some very simple jigs for doing a couple of things. If this pans out like I think it's going to, everyone will want to see my jigs because they make some processes a lot easier and more accurate. Accurate is the key here I think. Many have tried to do stuff and few have succeeded.

When you start your build, I'll share how I did my stuff if you want to know.

P.S.: If you can put a ridge on that baby feel free to try it. Listen to your gut, it doesn't lie. Few pay any attention to their gut because of so many other distractions everywhere.

    Best Regards,
    Slovenia

I am going to get up an extra hour early each day to spend that hour on this Device .

Your rig has some interesting adaptations that can be made,I am way to excited about this to not be doing something productive towards a replication!!
It will be a welcome distraction in my stressed out day!!

Besides I gotta Catch up to you "S"

    Thanks Again

    PS
Funny thing I was reading "Cores" thread [Peter Davey [gurugi]
And they were talking Cavitation,Of Course seeing what the little pistol shrimp does with his Tiny claw we know...... Yes Cavitation would be nice

    Well one of My customers in NY is a boat yard.{This just dawned on me }
The IO mechanic had a Duoprop boat drive there that he said had gotten all deformed from "Heat".

A Duoprop is two propellers one spins opposite the other on the same shaft
Inline .very cool,, well actually I should say very Hot!!
    Cavitation !!
Have you any idea how hard it is to heat something up that sits in the water?
Have you ever seen the vid of the balloon with water sitting directly on an open flame??

I think Mr C has a Cavitation event going on here??
    Thats My Theory boguslaw....
But I am a much simpler man than you!!!

And tomorrow when I get home I'm gonna start my build!

    I BELIEVE..........................
