Winding a cone shaped coil is a pain, the wire wants to slide off the coil form, I may have to wait till tomorrow and get some double sided tape.

When watching one of the vids it showed the magnetic field of a torioid and I realized the A vector potential field runs inside the toroid thats why a toroid has qualities that are different than a solenoid.
I will have to think on this awhile

If we use say ferrite cores,
In a solenoid the magnetic field runs in the ferrite core, and the A vector field surrounds the core
In a toroid the A vector field runs in the ferrite core and the magnetic field surrounds the core

Im sorry I didnt mean that we would use a ferrite core I was using the ferrite as an analogy, a reference.
Ice is the answer, ferrite could possibly be used in the future experiments just to see if it would boost the magnetic field but until the experiment has been verified I will use only air core and ice as the superconductor. I got the coil form made, will wind a coil today

I only worry about unhealthly radiation which may be produced from ferrite. Floyd Sweet tested many barium ferrite magnets before choosing one whcih worked.
