    Ozone is a good thing It is used to purify water, and wonderful in medical use. Not a good thing to breath, but wonderful if combined with oil and applied to skin.

    I really doubt that Ozone would be a problem. The main thing is to keep good air flow in the area you are working. So use a fan if you are fearful. Ozone is not the only gas that is made since nitrogen is in the air and other substances can be made. I use an oxygen concentrator to make my ozone to insure purity.

    Wow this thread is still really developing.

    Could anyone offer me some assurances with regard to the amount of ozone (if any) that is produced when running a high voltage coil such as those we are using here, with out a real spark gap to create a coronal discharge? I am quite confident that there shouldn't be any, but my paranoia is getting the better of me here and i thought i would just ask.

    Nat hows the painting going are you sanding it down first?
    Can anyone tell me how to get a second transistor to run off my first one
    theres a schematic on the Bedini SG thread page 8 a post by splocal.theres should be info on youtube as well,Bedini multi-coils set up

    man this is getting stranger by the minute....i just hooked up all the insulated plates and spheres to the end of the secondary....(i.e not connected to the negative of the ignition coil) and i am getting HV sparking leaping continuosly from the charging battery when i go to put the volt meter on it....the neons are lighting up again...

    have taken input voltage to 60volts

    I have painted the 2 spheres with 3 coats of clear arcylic paint. I was tossing up between an epoxy paint or the arcylic paint. I decided on the arcylic paint as it had a faster drying time. 1 hour between recoats. Not sure if this was the best choice as i am no expert.

    Anyway..i have tested it out--to a very small degree. Firstly i wanted to test whether the capacitor charging was effected by placing the spheres near the CFL's. As Tesla shows us in the patent what looks like a CFL near the plates. And this had a strange effect on the frequency..it was making a really strange noise...wasnt sure what to make of it. I can't really advise on the charging at this point other than i really need to wait for capacitors i ordered to arrive to do some better tests. I am testing out currently some 470UF 250v caps (at 48volts input) and i have ordered some 470uf 450volt caps. These generate quite a spark when discharged. The results are inconclusive at this stage as i really need to continue testing.



    P.S i didnt sand the spheres ...justed painted them

    You only need one diode. The one between collector and emitter is the relevant one.

    BTW- if you really want to protect transistor use some faster diode. 1N4007 is usually fast enough but if you're dealing with extremely HV, short duration impulses you'll need proportionally faster diode. I wrote about the choice of protection diodes in Peter's Attraction Motor thread.

    From my understanding Philosopher, you only need ONE diode to protect the transistor and John Bedini recommends an IN4001 between the Base and Emitter, with the 'band' at the Base end.

    The IN4007 diode is used/recommended on the output from Collector to the charge battery.

    Adding 'extra' diodes will ruin the circuitry. [except for adding multiple IN4007 diodes on the output in parallel.]

    Last night when I made that video I thought that I heard something on the roof. This morning I ran outside after I saw your post Byjove but all the the lights were gone. Santa had taken them all down and gone on his merry way.
    I got the idea for using the tiny LED lights from this video. The ones I got cost $4 for 20 bulbs.

    How Much Fun is this Lid
    I think the energy collected in the copper wire is not from the bulb but is passing from the enviroment into the bulb. Thats why tuning it, to pull in the most is very important.
    Once tuned it will pull in from the multi-antena and multi-Ground? copper wire and Saint Lid Blue plate! Still looking for more energy flow all we need is to see the energy move and then stick out a hand to pull it in.
