    Greg, you should be getting carbon credits for that Bro. When we did the hydroxy we showed 67% less hydrocarbons, which in fact attack the liver and cause cancer. That modification alone is a great success Greg. Absolutely beautiful to watch man.

    Hi Ash,

    Even when you rev the engine, if you hold a piece of steel or aluminum in the exhaust stream water condenses and dribbles off!

    I know my thermal efficiency is up because I still have the same compression ratio ... of course ... so my (p1 - p2) / p1 is the same, my exhaust temp is just way down. I bet I'm producing very low NOx's.

    It sounds throatier than normal ... some things are definitely different ... very peppy though.

    NICE Greg!! I bet that engine will last longer and it will run cooler obviously with the steam injection and get almost the same benefits as the hydroxy. If Bugs came off the production line like that ill take 5 of them

    You're work is very inspiring to me!

    I have a Datsun 240Z with a 2.8liter in it with a 240 head for higher compression...it is pretty souped up but I wrecked the car racing.

    Anyway, I think this coming spring I might pull the engine out and junk the car and just put the engine on a test stand and do these mods.

    water spark plug + steam test begins

    Hi everyone,

    I built and installed a water system today. It is very simple and introduces hot steam into the inlet air. This keeps the inlet air warm- guaranteeing good mixing between the air, gas vapor and steam water vapor.

    I did some highway driving and more back road and around-town driving before topping off the fuel tank and taking the odometer reading. Of course I checked the plasma system to make sure all was fine with that too.

    The water addition rate is about 2 drips every 3 seconds. For the record my odometer reading is 35987. I have no idea how many times it has actually flipped.

    Kinda' looks like my Bug is on an I V Drip ... hope it survives !

    Thanks Luc,

    I believe with appropriate process we can crack a long chain HC to get better combustion. Or we can increase the octant number of gasoline (because gasoline easier to vaporize and pass the catalyst by engine's vacuum) before entering plasma ignition zone. But yes, cracking diesel is better than gasoline.

    I'm still thinking the best way to vaporize diesel and the setup will be:
    Diesel vapour ==> thermal catalyst ==> leaner AFR ==> plasma ignition
    or even:
    water vapour ==> thermal catalyst ==> leaner AFR ==> plasma ignition

    I think the closest point that we will catch is getting better MPG.

    Hi Ash,

    thanks for posting the new picks I can't see the difference from the previous so I'll have to take it from your description.

    The last one looks like a carbon build up from a loose contact

    Could you post your previous charge voltage and cap size with this new test charge voltage and cap size so we have a record of it.

    I like your setup idea

    If you can test with Diesel it would be better. The Oil Mafia oops, I mean Companies have been adding chemicals in Gasoline to prevent fuel cracking. I believe Diesel is not altered yet. They change the chemical additives in Gasoline up to 4 times a year, so if you had a GEET vehicle you would need to re-tune the reactor rod every time the additives change. Also, if you traveled from State to State you would also possibly have fuel additive changes, even changing from one garage Company to another can get a different blend. This is the number one reason the GEET system has never taken off in America as Diesel is not the Fuel of choice for cars! ... Gasoline is. I think they are trying to keep it this way also since for the last 2 years Diesel is higher priced than Gasoline and is now up to a $1 more per U.S. Gallon. Before this, for as long as I can remember Diesel use to be less than Gasoline.

    The GEET has really taken off in France and the main reason for that is Diesel is the number one choice for vehicle fuel. They are years ahead on GEET Diesel development. I know about this because I researched it a year ago and French is my mother tung.

    One way or the other Diesel has more energy content. Not much difference than Jet fuel.

    Yes. The basic principal is the same as air bleed on that fuel saver. I put some gasoline that will sucked by the engine vacuum. With additional catalyst (thermal cracking) and a plasma booster ignition may be we could reach leaner fuel combustion. I do not know the number (1 : 30 as above disscussion ???) But so far just on standard ignition system I feel the power boost.

    Hi Ash,

    OK. It seems better. With smaller capacitor instead of 47 uF (I choose 10-22 uF), I will use it on this SUV. I made a testing setup to test a plasma booster out of the engine that make me able to test each plasma component for some period of time. I used simple DPDT relay to own pulsed it self, car coil, and 9.9 uF (3x parallel 3.3 uF 400 V capacitor). The plasma effect looks good and I could use only 25 watt bulb as restriction with enough Amp injector to the circuit to charge the capacitor.
    Some of link on the internet say about catalyst which can crack the long chain Hydrocarbon to shorter HC. So I can use different catalyst to pretread gasoline from the bubbler before entering ignition chamber.

    Nice long experiment Ash. I'm sure your result is very usefull to make important progress on this research. Thank you.
