I don't really know about the transformers, so far transformers from old UPS have worked for me, but they are big, a bit an overkill for this project since overall power consumption is 50w max. I tried some small 50VA transformers, but they had the frequency issue, did not work on higher than 100Hz. The best choice would be a ferrite transformer since they can be driven at higher frequencies, can handle lots of power and are small in size. But I don't know where to get those, you probably would need to wind your own coils on ferrite cores.

Yes, those 45 Ohm resistors get pretty hot, get at least 10watt resistors then you should do fine. Even though the resistors get got, the oscillator consumes only about 600mA in no load condition, but that also depends on the transformer used.

That is just the bridge rectifier that I had in stock. Smaller diodes also should work fine, I used it just to be sure

why that you use 10 amp diodes for the rectifier?. is the circuit draw that much amps?

The larger gap, the more voltage is needed to jump the gap. Usually it takes about 3000v for the arc to jump through 1mm of air. If the air gap is 2mm, then about 6000V are needed. Of course even more voltage is needed to jump across 1mm at higher pressures like in the combustion chamber. But if your gap is about 1mm, then 15kV worth of diodes should be enough

very simple oscillator circuit. at the circuit can i use an old 12v to 240 transformer? i think want to use it in reverse so it can produce 240v. and also ignition coil produce an high voltage, is 15 of 1N5408 enough to block the high voltage?
you using 15 diodes per spark plug of just one string to all 4 spark plug. sorry lots of questions i ask. just to make sure.
