    No disregard that, I overlooked that and did not correct it in my doc. There are only 4 47K's .Also that Movistor is not needed in this application unless you are expecting power surges on the supply end. Which with a "Booster" you shouldn't have.The spot is there if you decide to add one later but I did not see a need for it.

    Thanks. I should have thought of the acid. Probably have some around still, if not its in the pool section for a few bucks. I use it to etch metal before painting and its bad about destructing copper with a quickness! I already had some feric acid, it works good as well, just cost more. I will look into the programs and see what I can use. I seen the boards Redmeanie is producing and they look A+. These computers are letting us commoners do what only the pro's were doing a few years ago. Plus with all the attention HHO is getting, I want my system to look good as well as function properly. Safety is a key factor and shabby electronics just cant be tolerated.

    Etching Solution:
    1 part Muratic Acid
    2 parts Hydrogen Peroxide

    First Acid then add HP....Do this outdoors or in a well ventilated area, just like you would for commercial Solutions. Use rubber gloves and rinse thuroughly as you would with any other solution....AND DISPOSE OF PROPERLY! You can add some antacid tabs to neutralize the acid until you can dispose of properly.

    It takes about 5min to completely Etch an 8x10 2oz board.

    I have a buddy that I get my boards from. I believe he sells on eBay. I will find out and let you know.

    Photo Shop, Illustrator or even Paint Brush...That is how I started making them.
    I use Dip Trace (they also have a free version) Express PCB is easier and then if you have access to photoshop or a LIKE program you can convert it.

    Don't buy commercial Transfer Paper. Go to Staples and Buy their "Photo Basic" inkjet paper. Print your design on a Good Laser Printer like HP and Iron on using the Highest setting on your iron. Without Steam. Its better just to buy a new $7 iron and use it solely for this. After the tracks show through the paper put the hole board in cool water and slowly peel off the paper. Let it soak to be able to remove the remaining paper from the tracks. Use the mesh looking side of a sponge and gently rub it off. Now you are ready to etch with whatever etching method you prefer.

    That is some simple home style board fab for just about anyone who is willing to learn....

    I am interested in finding a program, easy, I'm not an expert, but able to print circuit board diagrams on photo paper with laser printer, so I can etch them myself. I have found a few programs but they will not allow for "self printing". They want you to email them to their company so they can charge for them. I have been using a sharpie for a while now. I just want them to look better. I have heard mention of a few forum members already doing this. Any help?

    You mite be able to you use a timing control made by MSD. They have them at JEGS.com. These are just for timing. It was the only thing that I could think of.

    i'm wanting to control my ignition timing on the go to take advantage of the better burn and octane of my hho system. do you have a circuit that could do this? i only need a couple of degrees advance i'm still scratching my head for a way to do it without going to a fully programmable ecu.

    I got what I was looking for, sorta

    Well,
    I put together a darlington and put it onthe board.
    now, I connect the 0.5V test voltage, trim V1 and the led comes on.
    then I adjust V2 to get the 1.0V output.
    works fine,
    BUT
    when I trim the test voltage back below 0.5V, the LED stays lit and the board keeps putting out 1.0V.

    I also tested the board with the IC removed and got the led to light dimly @ 0.75V.
    So I'm now thinking the IC is bad,

    miller time for sure

    Let me say to those reading this thread; there is no doubt in my mind that I damaged the problem parts myself, I am completely inexperienced at soldering and my issues should not deter anyone from getting Redmeanie's kits, they are top-notch!

    No just make sure they are identical, and you should be fine.

    I do know how to find C B and E, and correlate them to this:

    so, I would just take two npn transistors and connect them as in the diagram.
    Is there anything else I need to know?
