    NO knot fets please!

    I can't wait to start on the motor. Its sitting under my computer desk. I use it as a foot stool when studying or my daughter uses it as her coloring table. It's not out of the box yet and its useful already.

    Well, the motorcycle shop got a big money customer from Tokyo this week. So it's all hands on deck for them. Its summer time, that means bike season is in full swing. They are busy! The owner said Fire Blade AMEV1 is next in line, if he doesn't get another rush job. Hopefully, he will have some time to clear out a small space for us next week, so we can begin.

    Also, I met the board maker. I showed him the JS monster Driver pdf. He said he can make it. But His LABOR prices are...wtf did you say$$$$!? For that kind of money, I'd rather wait for the boards from Sampojo to be finished and tested or buy a hand made board from Dana with shipping to Japan!lol

    Yeh, Richie, will just have to find a way to make it sound like it did, digitally, but smellivision is not a reality yet, ahhhh the fumes, Ahhhhhh.

    It must have really hurt to get rid of your Black Stallion/bike. It's a thing of the past. A new and better adventure is at your feet. But imagine how your new ride will look and feel after you finish your motor!

    One thing I wanted to share here...

    I had several "anomalies" whenever I have been playing with this Motors...and some are really beyond "normal" understanding...

    One thing I have noticed, and that I think would be useful to you guys dealing with very high sensitive "Tronics" like Opto's...

    Once this Machines start running...there is a whole environment filled with the "Radiation" from Radiant...it first "catches" on the Motor Frame (I said that before)...but it does goes beyond that...to the Air/Space surrounding Machine...
    There are some ways it may show you what I mean...

    First grab a Neon Bulb...with your fingers touching one end leg, and make sure you touch ground with other hand...and when getting it close to Running Motor...it will lit up...move it around space of motor and there would be shiner or darker areas...Try swapping Cathode-Anode till finding right "Air Polarity"...

    The Second Test could be done with just a few "Hairs" of Carbon Fibers...holding in your fingers one side, hanging loose the other...and run it closer to Machine...and will notice Carbon will tend to "float" away from machine...even though no air flow will be blowing it...

    I discover this...not on the Motors...but on the Static coils (My First Thread)...However, in the motors occurs much stronger.

    Interesting Uh?

    So going back to "Precautions" based on this hints...Try keeping all the Sensitive Electronics, like Arduino, or Monster Pulsers...away from Motor Space...use thicker wires to Gates if needed...but, keep them away...just as a "Safety Rule"...

    Until we could build specific Carbon Fiber Frames/Shields to Isolate Radiant...properly, without killing HER...

    Great UFO, you bring back some memories from my spark gap, Ed Gray / Don Smith, experiments, my 2008 harley Fat Bob, had a factory alarm system fitted, but after some particular experiments, with some parrelled 240V MOT's, and ign points for switching, trying to mix 100 amp with 3000V, to produce a pulse of Mass induction, i couldn't start my bike anymore.

    Make sure, that anything Electronic is not within at least a couple of mt to be safe. My bike was 6 mt away.

    On the 3BGS thread, some kind folks, hinted to me on how to protect electronics, and how NOT to give off detectable longitudinal, linear waves.

    The harley, by the way, i sold to fund my motor build and buy some farm irrigation.

    The general consensis, of the advise, suggested Tesla style, Bifilar pancake coils, around your device/motor, to absorb emmisions, and maybe supply another source of collecting power.

    Hello Hitby, i am no expert, but what you describe is very unusual, it almost sounds like you have a naughty lady running around there.

    Please check that there is no possible earth, or any other connection, from motor coils to electronics, before you fire it up again.

    I hate to see things pop like that, but at least you know how to troubleshoot the problem, unlike myself, at present.

    Better get my finger out and get motor finished.

    Hi guys

    Almost finished the rebuild, nice grounds, neat, just like JS's schematic. Hopefully, I'll give it whirl tonight.

    Dana, did you end up putting gate resistor's on?

    Anyway, I ordered the hg's anyway, there good safety switches, and probably they will be out-lawed everywhere soon, I'd like to have 4. I got the spool and bobbin's, for $50.00 each. They were $60.00, last time.

    Nice tests!, it shows clearly quite some drop in Amps while Voltage is higher when pulsing, awesome!...however, a slight (200) decrease of RPM's...now, by getting frequency higher (meaning On\times longer)...would it increase speed?

    On the other hand, a favor, could you guys (Dana and You) "share some light" there to our dear Friend Machine...so he doesn't keep barbequing FET's...

    I have seen/read you both running the Imperial with same Monster/Arduino set...so He must be doing something wrong...

    Also, another favor...could you share your "Per Pair/Coils" resistance at Imperial (from commutators element to element measurement)...even though I do not believe that is the issue...

    no switching 89.5 Volts 19.2 Amps (1718.4 Watts) = 3100 RPM to the generator and it did show full voltage available however there was no electrical load applied.

    You may need to change the pins as you said for some Arduino boards. I use the mega2560 where 2 thru 13 are PWM pins. Just for fun, set code to 2 leads and check out the outputs on a scope.
