I agree we don't see them (at all or as much) when we're focused or concentrated but when they're gone, I believe it is because we don't notice them but they're still there, in my opinion of course. If there is some very loud noise going on around me, I'm able to still concentrate and don't even notice the sound anymore but the sound it actually still there.
But with that being said, this product does enhance focus, memory and concentration. Mental clarity being increased is something that most people recognize in a short time - so possibly people are noticing their floaters less according to Bates' idea.
