    I think it may has similar efficiency as MOSFET desulfator. That is a kind of radiant circuit too I guess, but with predefined output voltage.

    Why it has to be fast? Bedini ferris wheel rpm is slow, and he mention us to slow down too...

    Sucahyo, how should we use this to increase efficiency of our radiant
    circuits, you have to know this better than many :


    This switching method must be promising, and that relay switching
    that we talked about, should we have not adjust 555 timer to flip/flop
    much more often than just every two minutes ?

    Hi FH...yeah i was testing some Tachometers and they take their pulse from the Coil(-). I dont have a scope, but i noticed it had a 'bite'. Also, while building some CD Ignitions, i put a microwave diode up to the tower.....not really sure what im doing, just playing around...and the idea occured to me

    Not exactly sure myself yet I haven't made one to scope the output but I imagine the output would be a bit sine-wavy going through a transformer. Most likely not pure sinewave, so to speak. When I build one to scope i'll post some shots.

    Hi skaght, Yeah like sucahyo said you need a car coil or similar, use the low voltage input coil in stingo as the main coil, and get the Sparks or Arks from between the HV output and ground I think it works better with the small condenser that is usually on a car ignition coil. And also better if no charging battery attached, but care should be taken, if no ark is produced and no current flows from the HV the transistors can get quite warm. I used little heat sinks and had no problems though, no burned transistors. I use protection neons aswell.

    Here's a vid of Stingo in action with my conical coil spark gap. Lots of fun. There are others there and if you search stingo spark or ark or something you should find some more.

    Whoops, sorry, , my mistake, the right picture is wrong. The second PNP collector should connect to the first PNP base.

    I use resistor too in my fixed circuit, because I don't think high COP is much of a problem with adaptor.

    With step down transformer I think, only as desulfator.

    I think it can also make the car engine stop runnning considering how small the car spark is. Maybe comparable to 100mA @12V stingo spark.


    I would prefer to build stingo and use alternator output. I think car would not mind additional 500mA consumption.

    You need high voltage transformer like car coil or neon sign tube transformer or maybe CRT flyback. You can even use adaptor transformer, 12V/120V or 9V/240V what ever you have.

    You use the low voltage part as stingo coil, then get the spark from the high voltage part.

    I don't know what is my highest record for secondary HV voltage, I don't have high voltage meter, but the voltage of the low voltage part can exceed 1000V, even on analog meter.

    The spark gap at low voltage part is really damaging to the transistor or any other electronics connected to the same source. I also have inter coil spark problem with 9V/240V transformer that avoid me having long spark gap ...

    Hi cikljamas, I don't have much time but I had to log on to say, bravo ! Very good, maybe a comma like this , after the word schematic, but thats not important. Just the fact that you can use two languages is very impressive to me. I guess they teach english in schools there. Do they ? They tried to teach me japanese at school, they said we would need it because the japanese would take over all the commerce eventually, well that didn't happen. I didn't learn japanese either, I only learned to count to ten in japanese thats it. Anyway looks like a good inverter to me. I have two commecial inverters but they both drain a lot of power just by turning them on. One uses 500Ma (300w/600w) the other almost an amp (1000/200w) they are pure sinewave inverters though so I should keep them.

    complete setup

    Here it is, complete setup with transformer and soldered circuit...
    All you have to do is make it and turn on the light in your garage
    in some wilderness or farm, or farm in wilderness...

    And Farmhand, now i have to thank you too for this circuit and
    for english grammar lesson that you are going to give me for
    free, or if it is not for free charge it...

    Well, if next sentence was correct grammatically than you just
    should say : bravo !, but if it was not correct than you should
    write down how it should be, here it is :

    If you had not asked me about this inverters schematic i
    would have not found it on the web !

    but i rely on your awareness of my friendly attitude,
    so if ever my words seemed to be defying/challenging
    or anything like that you should be aware of my good
    intentions and absolutely positive attitude towards you
    as electronic expert and father of stingo and who knows
    what besides that !

    So, i thought that maybe there is no need for above
    explanation, but since i am not sure that you know
    that i am one of those who never forget good deeds
    (and you did a lot of good deeds) of other people
    i just had feeling that i have to write these words
    as kind of remembrance and gratitude to you and
    your admirable work !

    I am assembling this inventer to be able to use
    it more practically in future and make space on
    the test board for new testings, and next one is

    And, i forgot to tell you what is the load difference : on the last
    picture i use 15 W bulb, and there is 700 mAmps consumption,
    and with 20 W bulb there was 880 mAmps, remember ?

    And i did not make any adjusting with pots, if you compare
    last picture and that one before you can notice that i removed
    potentiometer on the last picture, so i replaced it with resistor
    with same value that was set in the circuit by potentiometer
    just because to see what is going to happen when i change
    the load without any adjusting in the circuit...

    And i do not want to change anything in the circuit, like i have
    to adjust with stingo, in some way it could be disadvantage,
    but i consider it (no adjusting) more advantage than disadvantage...
