    when I saw the video a couple of days ago and saw the splotch on the ceiling above the coil, that was my first impression too.

    Oil expands when it gets hot and probably bursted through a seal and sprayed up.

    Your circuit is next to replicate, was waiting on more 3055's. I just hope I have the right 2n2222's.

    I agree with the higher frequency, Gotoluc was messing with that area and getting great results. A week or so ago i was researching even higher frequencies, ended up getting sidetracked on a mini tesla coil forum. I'll try to dredge up the info but someone was using mosfets in the Mhz range.

    Slightly off topic but I ordered enough parts to build one of Dr Stifflers SEC15-3. I haven't seen any action on this on overunity.com for a while. There are a lot of strange phenomena these circuits share.

    I've gotten the system output up to 20khz in self oscillation mode by using that salt water capacitor off the + of secondary to magnetically quenching spark gap to cfl to ground. With a bigger F cap, could get output frequency quite high?? On the resonance thread there's been talk about making hv caps out of plastic page protectors or glass and Alfoil. Or was it the gray tube thread?

    Thanks for the reminder. I'd saved lidmotor's schematic then forgotten about it... So much is happening at mo, and I'm following too many threads to keep it all straight.. But that's a good thing? Right?

    I used a 4733 zener diode going from pin 7 to pin6 (black band on 6)

    I tried a couple of other low voltage diodes and there didn't seem to be much difference

    circuit is just a hybrid of this 555 timer and Lidmotors from page 64

    I've replicated Lidmotors 555 circuit with some minor modifications since I didn't have all the parts needed.

    I was missing some 10k potentiometers, so I made due with what I had on hand.

    resistance to pin 7 is 200 ohms, and pin 7 to 6 is 1k ohms.

    I placed a diode between 7 and 6 also. This reduced the duty cycle to <50%.

    I don't have an Oscope so I'm not sure what the duty cycle is.

    pin 5 has a .68 uf ceramic, this seemed to sharpen the on/off response.

    using a 4.7 uf cap connected to pin 6.

    I got these ideas from 555 timer

    Light output is slightly diminished with the addition of a diode, but the amp draw is way down, the transistor and 25ohm rheostat don't even get warm now.

    while playing around I hooked the high voltage output from the coil to the aluminum duct work in my apartments heating system, there was a significant increase in light output along with high voltage present over the entire circuit.

    On a side note, I've blown up quite a few 555's playing around, first couple were because I forgot the 1n4001 diode going to ground to protect the circuit. Very important to have this it seems.

    Waiting for an order from jameco.

    Dear Aromaz,

    On your Video 21 and 22 you have definitely achieved something,

    Why don't you keep going on using heat generator system?

    Please use Far IR lamps and use them as load.. If you don't like to generate heat, then please try to generate magnetic force... to generate rotation..
