    The super simple one

If I keep shrinking this down pretty soon you will need a magnifing glass to see it. I switched to Tip3055s and soldered it all together.

    Kickstart and Proximity

In one of my video's taken early last week I show this effect of the 'kickstart' but without touching. When I moved my finger into specific postions below the 2N2222A Base pin (see attached photo) the systems starts. Moving my whole hand around the chip, even upside, does the same but pointed finger only does not start when upside or around chip enclosure even close like 3 mm. It only has effect 45 degrees conical shape down from the pin - as far as 8 cm. When touching it does activate anyway.

In that video I called it 'Proximity sensor' For me it looked more likely to be magnetic induced and electrostatic - because of the area in which the finger proximity activates the 2222A

@Aaron - self switching; That trial I did was with similat BD743C transistor. For no other reason than it came from my free boo-boo box and look handy for the job. Since it has been added to my 'artwork' collection of burned parts. That was actually long before I went out and stocked up with bunch of new stuff. I was working hard to get ex-Bedini bi-/tri-/quad coils singing.

@Aaron - Charged environment; YES! I was not aware of this findings by other like you said. To date I could only read what I found on Internet, plan on buying a few books soon. That was the reason I shut down on Friday!
I remembered reading about Sweet Floyd's experience and the severe warnings from Tom Bearden on that - though it is not the same kind of circuit/operation - the field around my table kept on expanding!

Even after I terminated the DRT extreme spiking circuit, the scope and environment took some 20 to 40 minutes to calm down. Me myself had also been negatively affected. Severe headache, extreme tired, felt like a Zombi. For the first time in probably more than a year I went to sleep at 6pm. Wattanah was in shock te see me home so early - and going to bed that time had her seriously concerned.

@Ren - I am interested in your circuit for a later expansion on this DRT circuit. Please?

slayer007 - KSP 2N2222A -303 I would suggest to go back to my original circuit and build that one first. Then start cutting out and moving parts. On that circuit you will find everything working very stable, effective and smoothly. Next important thing: It must be 2N2222A transistor, the one with half round black enclosure. For some reasons to date I found the three 2N2222 chips I had which are enclosed in round aluminum cylinder does not work well.
Of this 2222A the best brand name I found so far is KSP. It is marked "KSP 2222A -303. The other worked too, but this one seems easier to switch and also this one that gave me the crazy spikes.

Now back to YouTube for me

Latest simplified wireless radiant energy transmission circuit

Here's my non technical explanation of what i guess is going on as i am no engineer or anything. The 450volt cap charges with radiant energy from the pc fan or/and the sphere. This discharges to the negative of the other battery bank via the magnet wire insulation and the insulation of the conversion tube (cylinder within a cylinder). The insulation is the conductor.
This causes a radiant event to light the CFLS wirelessly.

I recommend using magnet wire where indicated as i tried other wires and couldnt get it to work. But who knows...what you may discover or rediscover.

P.S i tried moving the conversion tube around the ignition coil and couldnt get it to work. Perhaps it wasnt radiant enough.

    Hi Aromaz,

    Youtube.

I can only advise what i do. Once the video is on the computer i convert it to divx format which shrinks it down to about 30MB in size on average. Then upload it. Theres probably more efficient ways. But that works for me

    Cheers

    Nat

    Frustration

I do not know what is on !!!! Anybody more ideas?
I am not stupid, have been working with computers since 1983, have been using Internet from the days it was still ARPANET and UNET....

I am kicking holes in my solid wood desk, bitting my fingers to the 3rd lid, busy jackhammering through the wall with my head ......
Just CAN NOT GET MY VIDEO'S UPLOADED!!!!!

I tried direct from camera, (even different camera's -JVC H-DVD, Canon Photoshoot, Nokia mobile phone and Small sony handcam), I used 'Movie Director' then PowerDirector, then Nero, then RealPlayer, ACDSee - all latest updates - they all say "....export and upload to YouTube"

From all of these versions, I made DVD and V-CD copies. Works perfect on computer and 2 different video players.

    I used two different computers
    - Desktop is MS-windows XP Professiona and protected by Kasperski - tried AntiVirun on and off.
    - Notebook is Acer with same windoes but older version,
Norton - tried it on and off.

Files are between 264 and 585 Mb, all less than 9 minutes long.
Two different ISP servers - both 512Mbps

I created a new YouTube identity......

Today I tried many version with a small 2 Mb file. WHAT IS WRONG?! NOTHING WORKS!

17 hours and counting - just to get UPLOADING TO YOUTUBE SORTED OUT.
I posted questions and asked for help on YouTube - They do not know.

Anything else anybody can possible suggest - Please?

    Hi Ren,

I think that the 60hz ac radiating from lines around me 'may' be enough to trigger the base. I just recalled what transistor was on there that gave me the best results. RCA3055. Other than the body shape being the flat style, I don't know what the difference is from the 2N3055 as far as ratings.

If I can rule out that frequency then I'll believe it is a more interesting source. Cosmic rays or gravity impulses pushing down on it.

@ Lid. Your models have always been very organised, how many lunch boxes are you up to now? You will be feeding the 5000 soon!

@ Aromaz, no thanks needed regarding links posted. I just felt it was important information regarding the 2n2222 which you have brought to the thread. I should have just posted the info directly the first time, so that others could read it too.

@ all. While I share your enthusiasms regarding current developments in the switching circuits my experiments have lead me on other paths. Variety is the spice of life I guess. I have finished a basic build which still has lots of work and experimental potential. Photo below. If anyone is interested I will post a schematic, I will put a video online tonight. Important to note, I have had success with other forms of transformers, namely the toroidal and MOT. The HV from the ignition coil isnt the only way this can work it would seem. More details to follow. Photos just dont do it justice.
Ren--- Please post your new CFL circuit. It looks good in the photo. Lots of light. I have never built a toroidal transformer. You are right -there is more than one way to skin the cat.

    @bodkins,

Thats exactly my next step is to relocate the cyclinder (conversion tube) so that it surrounds the ignition coil. See the excitement coming!!!

Well I kinda have it going.
But if I try to ground the other end of the CFL to the battery ground or earth ground it stops.
To get it started I need to touch the collector on eather of the 2n3055 transistors.

I have the earth ground going to the base of the 2n2222 transistor.

No it's not the same. Lost science is a newer book from the same author though.

Btw I'm now only uploading (ETA 20 min) the tesla chapter which is 40mb instead of the whole 80mb book. The reason it's so big is because it's scanned instead of digitally formatted.
