You guys would dig lasersabers work on the stubblefield stuff. He wound the coil just so and then had a compass near it and would just touch the iron wire to the copper wire and it would deflect the compass...

I took that to imply all form is polarized in an ambient balanced state, meaning any form has energy in it which is what sustains its form. Applying "power" to it then forces a re-ordering of whats there into then "polarized" state which has it far from its ambient equilibrium which is where it returns once the applied source potentials are removed from it.

Well the Jewel is that if we can create a big enough Current impulse, there is a longitudinal response that occurs as a result of that current that comes in orthagonally to the conductors axis of alignment... in a solenoid that axis is pushed into free space at the core hole of the coil... this would let the winding/windings on the solenoid then be feeling that brunt of induced aggregating current which is what otherwise ruins the conductors at 100kA pulses...

That might be the effect bedini is engineering to engage with his configurations, since bedinis SG usually only fires for about 1/3rd of the first time constant, and that first time constant is as determined by the wound inductance.

I could only generate bedinis hyper charging effect using the parallel inductance wound trigger... using a hall, or optical, or a 555 to control impulses didn't generate the same charging effect into a collector capacity.

Anyways thats sorta how I read it to be. Maybe that helps a bit.

The one thing that was noted in that book to be the differentiators in lightning for HOT or COLD lightning was just the max volts and duration of the current impulse resulting... higher volts with sharp short current discharges produced the Cold type affectation while the lower volts with longer duration current discharges would be what generated the Hot type affectation.

Well I think we can safely write off Gerard's claim to fame. However in spite of the lack of good information about Clarance's system it still interests me. I am interested because of what I have read about Nathan Stubblefield. I am originally from Kentucky and there is a whole community of people that said he was the real deal. And somehow he got his power from the ground. He also had a community wide telephone system that operated through the ground without wires. I haven't been there but my nephew who went to school near where Stubblefield lived says there is a museum there dedicated to Nathan Stubblefield.

So I guess my question is for anyone that has done some research on the Barbosa and Leal device is there any theory behind why or how this system is supposed to work? If you can just give me some links to get me started I don't mind doing the reading for myself. I suppose I could just do a search but I thought someone here might have some good info that would save me some time from digging through all the garbage you get when you try to do a search.

I'm not writing off Clarence either but I wish he would be more forthcoming as I would love to replicate this. I am encouraged by the reports of a.king and I may ask him some questions at some point since he seems to be more forthcoming. Perhaps someone will replicate Clarence's work but I'll not give it another thought until someone more open proves something substantial. I've got other projects I have to attend to and I'm allergic to mouse farts. I'm finally going to take Matt's advice and hit the ignore button for people who annoy me and mind my own business.

Well it seems real questions are no longer wanted in the Barbosa and Leal devices thread. So if you want to discuss the technical aspects of that device here then feel free to do so.

There seems to be some question as to whether Clarence's device is actually doing what he is claiming. I think he gives a pretty good idea of what is going on in his post #201. He clearly states in his post the Kill-O-Watt meter plugged into his inverter is showing the same power in watts usage for his fridge as it did when plugged into the wall outlet.

Now my assessment of that is that the battery and inverter is actually supplying the power to run the fridge. His reply to me was that the inverter was only helping and not supplying the full power to the fridge. How can that be if the wattage readings are the same?

An interesting thing to me is that apparently when there is no other load on the system the battery charger running off the system is able to recharge the battery. What I would really like to know and probably won't get an answer to, is how long has this system actually run a real load and how long does it take the charger to recharge the battery? If his runs have been pretty short and the recharging of the battery seems to take a while then it may be the battery is merely recovering and not really being recharged. I have been fooled by that myself several times before I caught on to how many times a battery in good condition can recover.

Just some food for thought.

The book came yesterday and I cracked it and read the first few chapters. Turns out the ampere longitudinal force is really only present with amp discharges of 100kA to 1000kA and the force manifests as an inward pressing instantaneous stress which then causes the conductors to go brittle and if the current is held ON long enough the conductor fractures and develops plasma carriers over the fractures maintaining the current flow as long as the current is applied. Once the current is removed then the conductors are reviewed and noted to have failed in such fashion.

The one thing that was interesting is the function of the parallel strands on common plane... bedini made that parallel strands on Common Axis of alignment... so its possible that this applied ampere force is whats being used to Hyper charge caps since Bulk Currents of an instantaneous nature could be induced by short duration impulses which then should in theory Squeeze the current into the stator using this longitudinal ampere force as the mechanism for localizing that charge on the stator.

Still have about half the book to read thru but the second half is about rail guns and arc-explosion events. I did note that the author called out the louder harder hitting lightning discharges of the shortest duration to be the events that induce a Cooling effect, while the same lightning discharge held for a little longer struck arc at lower volt potentials is what results in the localized Heating of the area... So this is probably what Most people are noting when they feel heat or cooling from their device...
