A mirror neuron is a neuron that fires both when an animal acts and when the animal observes the same action performed by another.[1][2][3] Thus, the neuron "mirrors" the behavior of the other, as though the observer were itself acting. Such neurons have been directly observed in primate and other species including birds. In humans, brain activity consistent with that of mirror neurons has been found in the premotor cortex, the supplementary motor area, the primary somatosensory cortex and the inferior parietal cortex.

The function of the mirror system is a subject of much speculation. Many researchers in cognitive neuroscience and cognitive psychology consider that this system provides the physiological mechanism for the perception/action coupling (see the common coding theory).[3] They argue that mirror neurons may be important for understanding the actions of other people, and for learning new skills by imitation. Some researchers also speculate that mirror systems may simulate observed actions, and thus contribute to theory of mind skills,[4][5] while others relate mirror neurons to language abilities.[6] Neuroscientists such as Marco Iacoboni (UCLA) have argued that mirror neuron systems in the human brain help us understand the actions and intentions of other people. In a study published in March 2005 Iacoboni and his colleagues reported that mirror neurons could discern if another person who was picking up a cup of tea planned to drink from it or clear it from the table. In addition, Iacoboni has argued that mirror neurons are the neural basis of the human capacity for emotions such as empathy.[7]

It has also been proposed that problems with the mirror neuron system may underlie cognitive disorders, particularly autism.[8][9] However the connection between mirror neuron dysfunction and autism is tentative and it remains to be seen how mirror neurons may be related to many of the important characteristics of autism.[10]

Despite the excitement generated by these findings, to date, no widely accepted neural or computational models have been put forward to describe how mirror neuron activity supports cognitive functions such as imitation.[10] There are neuroscientists such as Greg Hickok (UC Irvine) and Cecilia Heyes (Oxford) who caution that the claims being made for the role of mirror neurons are not supported by adequate research."[11][12]

We always talk about the Ninth Sphere, which is the center of the Earth. That is the end of the Ray of Creation. Yet, in our physicality the Ninth Sphere relates to our sexuality. Yes, in our sex, which is the Ninth Sphere, Yesod, is where we find the very center of our own particular Microcosmos, our physicality. If we allow Nature to go mechanically through us, what are we going to do with our sexual force that relates to the same vibration of the Ninth Sphere, with the note Re? We will multiply our species. This is what the animals do, what the plants do; multiplication of the organic life in order for this planet to continue to exist in space. Reproduction comes from desire, from our own mechanical nature within. So, it is necessary to go to the very bottom of the end of that Ray, which is the Ninth Sphere, and to return that light by will, for our own benefit. That is why it is written that it is necessary to descend into the Ninth Sphere in order to receive the Initiation. Yet, that descent has to be conscious, through our own will.




To descend into the Ninth Sphere means to go into the sexual act, it means to go to the very bottom of the Ray of Creation. The Ninth Sphere is the abode of Lucifer, "light and fire."

What do we have to do in the Ninth Sphere? We have to return the fire, not to allow it to go downward mechanically as it does, and to be dissolved in Hell. Instead, we want to return it, that is, to awake the Kundalini, to awake the Christ, the Light inside of us, in our spinal column, by utilizing Thelema. This is difficult, because all of the centripetal forces that go from the periphery to the center of the Earth are going to fight against us, because we are fighting against the centripetal forces of our planetary zone, and the universe. We want to make that Cosmic Ray to vibrate centrifugally in us, to make in its return to sound the notes, Do, Re, Mi, Fa, Sol, La, Si in our spinal column. This is not easy. We have to fight against our own animal nature. That Nature is our own physicality, our own mind, our own emotions; that Nature that wants to procreate for its own mechanical purpose.

The scholar Deborah Soifer describes the development of the concept of lokas as follows:

The concept of a loka or lokas develops in the Vedic literature. Influenced by the special connotations that a word for space might have for a nomadic people, loka in the Veda did not simply mean place or world, but had a positive valuation: it was a place or position of religious or psychological interest with a special value of function of its own.
Hence, inherent in the 'loka' concept in the earliest literature was a double aspect; that is, coexistent with spatiality was a religious or soteriological meaning, which could exist independent of a spatial notion, an 'immaterial' significance. The most common cosmological conception of lokas in the Veda was that of the trailokya or triple world: three worlds consisting of earth, atmosphere or sky, and heaven, making up the universe."[1]

Hari (Sanskrit: हरि) has many meanings and sometimes refers to a colour, green, yellow, or fawn-coloured/khaki. It is the colour of the Sun and of Soma. The word Hari is widely used in Dharmic literature as worshipable lord covering Hindu, Buddhist, Jain and Sikh religions.

Hari is a famous name of Vedic Supreme God Vishnu (Narayana). It appears as 650th name of Lord Vishnu in Vishnu sahasranama of Mahabharata. In Hindu sacred texts such as Vedas, Mahabharata, Puranas and Bhagavad Gita, Lord Vishnu is frequently addressed as Hari which means Lord who destroys Samsara, that is, entanglement in the cycle of birth and death along with ignorance, its cause.

Alternate meaning used especially in Sikhi is Lord who takes away all the illusions, attachments, desires, ignorance, pains & material existence of his devotees and destroys their material bondage, that is, gives them moksha.
