Something peculiar just happened, when my freezer compressor kicked in I had an amp draw of .65 for just a second then it went back to 0.
The freezer I have is a small maybe 2 1/2 foot square, in the bottom of the freezer there's a small shelf in one corner that my cell is sitting on, under that shelf is the compressor, when the magnetic field from the motor kicked in I had a surge through the cell.

The amp meter is in, so far nothing.
I really think the aluminum plate should be gold or at least gold plated, also using acid in the water would improve conductivity, rainwater is slightly acidic.

It would make sense since the water is structured which would imply that i has a more sturdy shape compare to "chaotically" ordered ice

Not sure if youv noticed but the longer ice has been frozen the longer it lasts after taken out of the freezer.
Im going to put an amp meter between the aluminum plate and the grounding rod to see if there is an amp draw,draw may be the wrong word I think flow is better, anyway we should be able to monitor the cell this way.
