A single-coil doesnt collect much -- the intervals between when the water falls is too much, I think. I have a few ideas which might make it have a higher output. Either way, I think my idea came across.

I did not read those posts carefully enough the first time through. I'll try to smash a few with a hammer to see a difference in effect. Got a bag of 20 quartz crystals for about 10 bucks.

So, my "creativity" kicks in to find a way around that, and I think I've got it.

Manapulating a coil (pancake, or smith) as one end a "static quenched" spark gap to induce dielectric breakdown (like tesla did with his "blowout" electromagnet coils?) Will clairify on this later. Even thought of using small rodin coils as blowout coils for larger setups with more current -- small, but strong mag field.

For now -- making smith coil or pancake coil frozen inside water with both leads comming out to bridge the spark gap -- when spark jumps from the positive to the coil, gives small wire very high potential.

Hope you can understand this -- drawing has not been practiced much with my computer hands.

I'm also making a high voltage cap like this one -- perhaps a tad smaller. Just in case the small gap isnt enough to induce the required breakdown -- I can store it in the cap, THEN discharge the stored energy ("condenser"). got enough supplies to make two or three of these things, so I'll figure out something, mistakes included.

Also, I've been freezing some fresh quartz crystals -- they crack the ice too. Freezing other rocks just solidify the ice around it -- they dont crack the ice. The pressure of the ice freezing around the crystal is enough to split the darned things down the center. Unfourtunately these lines are not very well controlled, so the coils seem to be the way to go for intentional structuring of the ice.

So the pizeoelectricity -- also, while producing "negligable current" (like the water drop generator), can crack the ice with its high potential fields.

to do the experiment all you need is a fridge ,boiled water and your magnets/coils etc , and power supply for your coil ...

and a transparent container

Or, what if....

you wound an iron wire in a pancake coil aligned perfectly at the a vector field, only the wire in the middle of the coil actually enters the magnet in the center, and then turns and exits the middle of the north or south face of the magnet, then you create a circuit by connecting the two ends of your magnetic coil with a non-magnetic copper wire...

Here is a question for you, perhaps you can answer this with a freezing test.

What happens to the a vector when you place a core on the end, but not touching, the magnet (as is done when a muller type magnet is tdc from the coil.)

Will the a vector move to where the gap is?

what we want to do is use one side of the coil (A vector)
I wonder if we make a coil with only left hand winds will it create only one vector direction, and since the lenz field runs counter to the direction of input will this create a right hand vector field. This is all hypothetical, just thinking out load.

and if we use a screen to move the field down away from the coil, will it couple with the frozen structured column.? and therefore no bemf.

I think you may have something using pulsed dc, it would help in creating a one sided field.
