You can also put the antennas in parallel and it creates more voltage. And then you can hook it up to your load center which goes to the grid. They shower down on us throughout the whole 24 hours, and if a plant is developed to use their power it will not require devices for storing energy as would be necessary with devices using wind, tide or sunlight." - Nikola Tesla, Brooklin Eagle (10 July 1932)

That's what we're looking for. Every photovoltaic panel I've ever seen is subject to storage requirements and the attendant battery maintenance as well as poor performance in cloudy weather. Maybe you know something about solar panels we don't. Care to share?

After reading this silly bunch of garbage it is real easy to see who doesn't know anything about electronics.

Inverters put out 120 volts ac at 60 Hz. If you parallel the antennas you would increase the current not the voltage. How do you hook up antennas "kind of like" solar panels to an inverter? And the last sentence doesn't make any sense at all.

The problem is the power density and how much electrical energy we
consume nowadays. Using metal plates to get a steady power of a few
hundred watts out of a system would require several football fields of plates
(going by past outputs from plate setups that I've seen).

What you say is entirely possible but with a plate about 2 meters square
5 meters high you might get 1 Watt continuous. Which is not much use.

Tesla's vision was to use a capacitor to store the charge/energy eg. 1 watt, for a period, to
allow say 100 watts to be discharged every now and then to charge a battery,
or less power discharged more often to run other things maybe with their own
capacitors for storing the pulsations for small continuous output power use, small things like
clocks ect. could be run with no input from us for many years that way, not
even winding them up. A battery with a device drawing ten watts for only
1/10 of the time or 10 % duty for current draw, could be kept charged by
          such a device.

So in essence the device with a 10 Watt draw at 10% duty could be run from
a 1 watt continuous power source, (ideal situation no losses). And therefore a
100 Watt device with a 1% duty could also be powered with the aid of capacitors and/or a battery used.

The voltage could be converted to whatever is desired by regular means such as an inverter type circuit or boost converter.

Looking at the Figuera device I see he may have charged a bank of batteries
with such a setup, then used his device to produce the AC power he needed
to run the motors for some time on and off. While the batteries received a
train of high current pulses all the time without cessation, likely in the form of
low total charge/energy but high power/current pulses.

That would have given him a free energy machine in the sense that he ran his
machine on free energy, not that his machine made or captured free energy itself.

          Cheers

As we know for different people they use different kinds of mobile phone signals. Just as the people around you like your friends, your colleagues, your family members and so on, they may use the different mobile phone signals as now there are various mobile phone signals from different companies and of which the frequency bands are also different such as the CDMA, GSM, DCS, PCS, 3G, 4G LTE and 4G Wimax. So in different conditions and circumstances people are in need of the cell phone jammers that of different frequency bands. But if people are in great need of a cell phone jammer via which they can decide the jamming frequency bands what kind of device should they choose? Of course, the cell phone jammer is the best for them in such condition.

That's why you need resonant circuit to amplify power ...and energy. Instead of big antenna in crystal radio and deep ground you can have a round antenna , small but efficient...

                This has real potential!

This thread has already had a lot of action (66 posts so far) so I don't think my two cents will get much attention. But...

I have had some of the same thoughts and built a number of experiments along the lines suggested in Tesla's Secret. I don't think this book is actually related to what Tesla had in mind, but the collected facts are a helpful start to anyone just getting started.

First, don't expect a lot of energy from your first experiments. Only keep track of (i.e. measure) how much energy you collect from your antenna and observe what seems to cause the variations in your measurements. For example, time of day, rain, sun, wind, cloud cover, atmospheric pressure, etc. If you move your antenna or make other changes make careful note of all such.

For one thing, The longer and higher your antenna is will affect your results quite strongly.

Again, don't expect a lot of energy at first but measure carefully because on occasion you will get a lot more than you expect.

My second tip is this: Watch out for resonance effects! Electrical things like capacitance and inductance can have enormous consequences. This can be related to radio frequency sources nearby, Power lines nearby, Telluric currents, the natural earth resonance (supposedly near 6-8 Hertz), the dominant frequency of lightning bolts (supposedly near 3.5 Megahertz) and other poorly understood effects.

Also be aware that large antennas can attract the attention of the FCC and other regulators!

If this is helpful to you send me a PM using this forum. I will post more in this thread from time to time.
There is a reason why science has been successful and technology is widespread. Don't be afraid to do the math and apply the laws of physics.

                  Its works ... But ..

My 10cents for what it's worth . Whilst not a rip off Its not far off, In so much as the information is freely available and in better form elsewhere. For instance

There's much to be discovered .. for instance would 100 batteries in series or parallel charge up to the same degree as one?
What's the effect of multiple earthing ? Could it be tuned like the crystal set above but to the batteries ? In other words although that particular sales pitch is suspect hype at the core is a principle worthy of serious investigation. Many systems had an antenna from Moray to Tesla's Pierce Arrow. You are not going to power your house from that set up .. but its a start! and who know's how many steps away from the multi KW power units of Moray and Nikki

i just found this thread (i know its old) but im testing a variation of this as of now but my setup is a bit different and is as follows...
i took an old microwave oven transformer and removed the primary and used it as a parallel antenna 35 ft off the gnd 75 ft long between two 4 inch pvc pipes with just this single wire im getting 370 vac with .050 ma i find that interesting so i built one of those radiant energy ac to dc circuits and used several different cap types but only used germanium diodes ( removed from old ham and cb radios ) from the 60`s and 70`s...only produced 2.5 vdc just lit an led for about 3 seconds but i tried winding a toroid as you would for a jewel thief circuit and didnt connect the second winding to the first but instead connected an led across one winding and the other to the antenna and tried to induce a charge into the second and bam it worked the led lit up....

i did find however if you run more antennas and connect them together you boost the current but the voltage somewhat stays the same it doesnt rise...

also found increasing the surface area of your antenna boosts current also.

also tried an old tv antenna at the same hight (60vac) .025 ma not impressed with that...but the aluminum antenna wasnt insulated either so that may have played a role in low voltage...

imma continue trying different variations till i find something that stays constant and post my results here if its ok to do so...

ok i made a modification to my setup to try and keep the led lit so here is what ive done...
I had an old relay from a junked cb radio i took it apart and removed the contacts leaving the reeds intact and made a spark gap of sorts to act as sort of a switch (for lack of a better term) but anyway now i connected the spark gap switch to the antenna run it through the toroid transformer and then to gnd the secondary of the transformer i connected a led and guess what ?
IT WORKS the led is staying lit with that setup its been running now for about 5 hrs ...

if anyone is interested ill post a schematic of what i have so far...if not thats fine ill keep testing anyway...

Yes, please post a schematic. I built one of these using the insulated, elevated plate rather than wire. I'd like to see your schematic and may have a few tips for you.

well this morning its still well lit im happy...but what im going to try is to place a variable capacitor between the spark gap and antenna i ended up finding some old am radios and multi band radios ill remove the tuning caps from them and give them a try before moving on to building a large one myself ...ill let the forum know how is goes...

A few tips for your circuit:
Make sure everything that is exposed to the air that can be insulated is insulated so that none of the charge captured neutralizes at the interface with the air. In particular, pay close attention to the free end of the antenna wire. If the end of the antenna wire is left bare it will ionize the air around it and that ionized air is more conductive than the surrounding air so it provides an easier path to ground for any lightning bolts. That's how a Franklin lightning rod works. So the lightning will take the easiest path to ground through your circuit. That's why you need to insulate everything. That's also why you don't want to use you house's ground rod. Even if you have good insulation now, over time the insulation may break down or get cracks and you do not want to use your house's ground rod as part of a lightning grounding system.

Also realize that the first few feet of soil in which your ground rod or plate is installed collects charges from the air and charged particles from the sun's rays and cosmic rays. The more high energy ones will even penetrate solid rock to a degree. The result is that the top few feet of soil will have both negative and positive charges so you want to insulate the top few feet of your ground rod if you are using a rod. If you are using a buried plate for an earth ground insulate from where the wire that goes to the circuit attaches to the plate all the way to your circuit.

The Germanium diodes are also photodiodes so if they are exposed to light in your installation you'll find that the amount of light falling on them will affect your readings somewhat.

Take readings at different times during the day. Before sunrise, during sunrise, mid-day, and before, during, and after sunset. At the same time, take environmental measurements - temperature, humidity, wind speed, cloud cover, UV rating, etc. - to determine any environmental variances. I didn't have the tools to record all of those at my sight so I used a weather web site to collect the information closest to my location which was 7 miles away.

I used a 3' X 4' insulated, elevated plate and tried to take readings at least every four hours for three months. I didn't find any correlation between local environmental factors and the readings which kind of surprised me.

But when I started thinking about charged particles from the sun and cosmic rays I decided to start recording the solar wind speed and density. I found an inverse relationship between the solar wind density and the readings. The more dense the solar wind the lower my readings and vice versa. I think it is like a cloud passing between a photovoltaic solar panel and the sun. There are several space weather web sites that report the speed and density of the solar wind. This is one that gives a good graphic representation:
WSA-ENLIL Solar Wind Prediction | NOAA / NWS Space Weather Prediction Center

This one provides better raw numbers: SpaceWeather.com -- News and information about meteor showers, solar flares, auroras, and near-Earth asteroids

I'm not sure it will affect your system since you are using wire rather than an elevated plate but it should be interesting to see.

Another thing to consider is elevation above sea level. We know there is higher radiation and high elevations as in airplanes. That's mostly because the charged particles travel through less air before they are intercepted so more make it through at higher elevations. I'm guessing this is probably the most important local environmental factor. Can you please let us know your elevation above sea level?

I also had an interesting experience one night when some thunderstorms were moving by my location. I was taking readings and a flash of lightning visually lit up my elevated plate. The lightning was several miles away and it was cloud to cloud lightning. My elevated plate was insulated in a white plastic so the flash was very apparent. My voltage reading immediately jumped to four times its previous reading and over a minute or so settled back to what it was previously. I didn't really know what I was seeing at the time but it dawned on me later it was charged particles from the lightning striking the insulated plate. A little bit of searching on the internet revealed that sufficiently strong lightning will emit x-rays and even gamma rays. You will find Tesla's Colorado Springs notes of July 4, 1899 interesting in regard to lightning. The entry ends with, "This is important!"
                              Colorado Springs Notes 1899-1900

The insulation on my plate and on your wire actually provides two functions. The first, as mentioned above, is to prevent ionization around any points or sharp corners to prevent attracting lightning and the second is charge separation. You'll find that the higher the dielectric constant of your insulation, the better the charge separation and the higher your readings.

BTW, here's a link to the Tesla patent for the device you are working on:
Nikola Tesla U.S. Patent 685,957 - Apparatus for the Utilization of Radiant Energy | Tesla Universe
It's interesting to note that the patent application was made not long after he returned from Colorado Springs.

thank you so much for all the useful info i really wasnt sure if anyone was still interested in this experiment but to comment on some of your post when i removed the primary off that transformer i re coated it with enamel on the ends that were cut and also some spots that looked thin... you did however mention something that had slipped by me i really do need to enclose that spark gap switch i am losing power their i think and i did however have the germanium diodes in shrink tube (ive tested several diodes and almost all silicon based diodes will generate power when exposed to light) especially the clear leds...i have found me a 6 gang variable capacitor to test ( i may disassemble it and reassemble it as one long cap) and am thinking of maybe running several strands of that transformer wire to increase the current a little more...

approximate elevation is 2,372 feet (723 meters) above sea level.

my readings so far are as follows
6:00 am no sun hitting the area yet (360vac .055 ma)
12:00 noon no clouds (360vac .055 ma) although it was a little windy
                                4:00 afternoon no clouds (360 vac .055ma)
                                7:00pm (360vac .055ma)
                                9:00 night (360vac .055ma)

these readings are about the same every day but i will take your advice and start noting the weather and solar weather also....
