Nice . I think you can get stronger effect with insulated copper.

If your camera have close up mode, you can force focus to 0.5 distance.

Interesting . I look forward for the result .

    Interesting .

Can you try quartz against a rotating quartz? or maybe putting quartz at the rotating PMH?

    Thanks for posting .

I can see the needle . I once see the needle form a vortex.

Ovoid PMH - energy pattern in ice

This PMH may need to be recharged somewhat - it has been weeks since I charged it last. The metal ring is two half-circles of spring steel with ends cut for good physical / EM contact. Once energized, ring was wrapped with a thin layer of tape to keep the ring together when spinning at a high rate of speed (drill mounted). I need to come up with a mechanism for spinning that doesn't involve a motor or other magnets.

Will work on meeting Harvey's test requirements. Time is at a premium these days. :-S

One of the things that is yet to be documented is whether or not this force is real (acts on the quartz even when not being held) or induced (acts on the muscles, thereby causing the sensation of force).

One way to test this would be to fasten the quartz to the end of a wooden rod and secure a matching weight to the other end. The longer the rod, the less sensitive it will be, but we don't want the weight too close so as to interfere or cancel the PMH effect. Suspend the rod from a piece of nylon line (fishing line, weed eater line, or similar. Don't use a twisted thread, use a monofilament. Once the rod is hanging very still and horizontal, bring the PMH into proximity. It would be helpful to have a grid of vertical and horizontal lines some feet behind the detector (on the wall?) with a lamp to cast a shadow of the rod and line detector onto the grid. The shadow will be amplified by the ratio of the distance between the lamp and the detector and the detector and the grid, just like a lever. The closer the lamp is to the detector and the farther the detector is from the grid, the greater the sensitivity.

You could video the shadow on the grid while trying different approach positions and angles. This technique can be tailored to be decades more sensitive than human sensory perception.

There are two shadows involved, one vertical one horizontal. The suspension line is the vertical and the rod is the horizontal. Any motion on either axis will be detected easily. Also, not as accurate would be motion in the z axis (toward or away from the grid). In this case the size of the shadow will change to some degree as it moves toward or away from the lamp.

For best results, use as short a rod as is practicable as this will offer the greatest angle deviation for a given input pressure.

Another method if you have one, would be to fasten a laser pointer to the weight end of the rod and have that shine directly on the grid all the way across the room. Small motion on the rod will produce large swings of the laser dot.

If we get motion by this method, then we can say the force is real and rule out the muscle hypothesis.

    What is the resistive force?

    FYI...

Thinking about the feel that is generated by interaction with certain metals and quartz (or other heavy minerals) I wonder if this is would be similar to what is described in Science Fiction literature / films as an "inertial dampener." Not gravity - at least not in the sense that we think of it - and not necessarily anti-gravity , but maybe a force that can modulate the effects of motion or inertia. I feel the force most strongly when the stone is approaching the PMH at a particular angle and both the PMH and object must have a particular velocity. If the PMH is not spinning just so, or the object is not moving toward the PMH the resistive force is very slight, if there at all.
The resistive force and the visual phenomenon may appear together or seperately - I have seen it better at higher rotational speeds than when the resistive force is felt.

    hmmmm

Maybe "Ring Bell Twice" means use the tame technique twice - apply the coil to each leg of the PMH and ring the bell.

We saw in videos posted by others that using two coils - one on each leg of the U shape, in a simple PMH, creates more strength and a more clear North and South polarity in the soft iron metal. Otherwise with a single coil we get the strongest region of N & S attraction on either side of where the coil was wrapped.

The bell, the bell, the bell

It came to me this morning... maybe Ed L used the bell at Coral Castle to create DC pulses for charging PMHs? Imagine the bell is hanging above the PMH (or generator) and a wire is run from one terminal of a battery to the top of the bell - ideally attached so it doesn't interfere with the tonal qualities of the bell when rung. Then a second wire is run from the other terminal of the battery, coil around the PMH and back to the bell near the outter rim. When struck the surface of the bell vibrates. Bringing the end wire coming from the PMH into close proximity of the bell should produce the same frequency of pulses in the system. His door said "Ring Bell Twice" I'm not sure if that is necessary?

When I charge my PMH I have attached to one terminal a clamp with a steel bolt hanging off, and I will sometimes drag the wire along the raised threads of the bolt creating a poor-man's equivalent. But I beleive I may try the idea indicated above. Obviously the tonal qualities of Ed' bell would be crucial to the result - I doubt he selected it at random (and he may have modified it for his own purposes).

The male ice is different from normal ice. Unless you are replicating, you won't know what I am talking about. male ice look like made of thousands of small air needle. A camera zoom might show it, but unfortunately I can not do it again now. I manage to capture the clear ice part with air helix from different experiment though:

without energizing. That is open coil. Try it yourself.

No. but it may explain why there is iron inside a wood near the PMH.

If I have money, I would already freezing various configuration of PMH to know how I can improve it. I would use ice pattern as guide.

The problem is how to capture it. And I don't think better optical help if we still use same CCD or CMOS technology. I recall Tesla use 30 minutes exposure on film photography, everyone have the camera and photo processing service?

If it is available everywhere, creating generator is better than finding a way to store it.

I now believe that gravity effect is related with energy that can produce clear ice. And it is definitely not magnetic nor electric.

See if you can accumulate your PMH wave by something like this bellow:

One face absorb, other face shoot. Made it with insulated copper wire. Maybe from bigger diameter, maybe 10 roll or more. It produce noticeably different ice pattern on each face:

There are several different forms of resonance involved in your ring.

    1. Body: This is the resonance that would occur if you suspended the ring from a string and then proceeded to strike it like a chime. It will 'ring' at its resonant frequency as the actual body changes shape and the energy interacts with the surrounding air to produce longitudinal sound waves.

    2. Magnetic: This is the resonance that would occur if the device were placed inside an MRI machine (and fully secured to prevent movement). A magnetic resonance imaging machine aligns all of the domains (or even the atoms themselves) with the strong external field for a fraction of a second, and then measures the resonant frequency produced as they return back to their original structure. The machine also measures the relative time lapse of differing frequencies to provide a 3D map of the interior materials.

    3. Structural Wave Resonance: This is the harmonic response resonance that would occur if we place a repetitive synchronous wave of stress energy in motion around the ring. This particular excercise, if not properly executed will result in shattering the material. You must allow the energy to dissipate at a rate equal to or greater than the energy input because it is synchronous and can be additive.

    4. EM Wave Resonance: This is the resonant action I mentioned in my previous post. This is similar to the Magnetic Resonance, but instead of relying entirely on physical motion and magnetic interaction, this takes us to a lower quantum level where energy is absorbed and retransmitted from the atoms themselves. In a typical system, the structure is quite disordered and energy can interact at many angles and timings in a scattered manner. These types of interactions cause internal heating similar to what our skin does when UV and IR EM waves are absorbed. But in a wave resonant structure, the incoming energy causes alignments to occur in the material structure where repeating motions synchronize and the scattering begins to cohere in a specific direction. This is what occurs in a ruby for example, and the output energy in that case is a laser. That level of escalation is referred to as lasing. However, we are not limited to just a single homogeneous beam. For example, in a spherical object, the input energy could move inward where it becomes more dense as it approaches the center. Upon reaching the center, it could either pass through itself, or cause the material to emit a higher energy band outward in all directions. The cross section of a torus is identical to the cross section of a sphere. Therefore it too, could have a similar reaction in the plane of the cross section.

5 Electrical Resonance: Similar to magnetic resonance, an applied electric field is used to align electrically polarized particles within the material and measure the action that occurs when the electrical stress is removed.

In my previous example of heating the device and then striking it, I was combining EM resonance with Body resonance. Hoping that the body resonance would setup a wave resonant action around the loop that became recursive and used thermal energy to keep it going and building. In this case, it was hoped that prior to any structural failure, it would release the energy in some other form. Hoping that as it cooled to ambient, a phase shift would occur that prohibited any further thermal energy from leaving while maintaining the other resonant factors. In simple terms, we heat it to help put it in the resonant mode, and we keep it resonant as it cools below ambient. If the structure is able to use temperature to keep the resonance going, then it may emit other energy, especially if the frequency is above the response of atmospheric gases thereby limiting any energy losses to the air molecules in contact with the ring. Since it would be absorbing thermal energy from those molecules, the action could be to retransmit that thermal energy at another frequency that is not absorbed by the air, like RF or other light spectrums. But it could be too even THz may be transmitted that may interact with the air or other contact materials in non-thermal ways.

Your hematite ring is no doubt a conglomerate of many different materials like quartz and other things with hematite being the predominant material and the lattice structure of the material inconsistent, amorphous. So it will be unique in how it responds to energy input.

One thing to note, regarding wearing these things, is that they can be porous on a molecular level where sweat can enter the rock by capillary action and evaporate away on the exposed surface. This action will definitely remove heat from the rock and quite possibly leave salt deposits behind. So that would have to be taken into consideration if cooling is observed.

Once again, Harvey you fascinate me with your creative thinking and amazing insights!

As far as the ring's temperature, I cannot detect an unusually cool surface temp., as we saw with the traditional PMH. Wearing it could mask the thermal "sink" proerties (so to speak).
When I touched it after charging I immediately felt something in the pit of my stomach (I could have just as easily been reacting to the EMF sparks created by the battery).

However I do feel as though there is thermal activity occuring in it as I am typing, with it on my finger now. (I can't decide if it's warming me or I'm warming it.)

I would like to try creating resonance in the ring to look for changes in behavior. Do you think I could accomplish that with a simple stereo speaker or do I need something more like a tuning fork?

I never beleived that stones have special (ie. mystical or supernatural) properties. Now I am starting to wonder...

PS. Sorry for sidetracking David's gravity waves thread, I think this is connected (although not directly).
