    van...

i bought the oxide online.....the outer tube does not "lock"....the oxide acts like virgin iron....a magnetic current, once started in the oxide, flows forever....the oxide must be packed very tightly inside the tube...i have made some of the oxide core devices with 3/4" clear vinyl tubing ...they work fine...i use a compass to "see" if the ring is energized.....screaminvern, from another forum, said yesterday that he put his device near a magnetron and the waves became way more visible....as far as the ends, i just tape them together...the oxide must be PACKED tightly and it can be tricky to get the last bit in.....i hope this helps.....thanks...david

    David-

Where did you manage to get that much Iron Oxide. (Isn't Iron Oxide the same thing as rust?)

One other question - on your aluminum tube PMH does it lock magentically like the steel does? If not, how did you connect the ends of the pipe? I would like to make one for testing here.

Do you have a golf-ball that you could test with your Lambright device? Interested to know if the surface dimples respond in the spinning vortex field.

    tools

i am going to build a compass table.... a 1'x 1' square covered with small compasses.....this i hope will show better what is going on when a device is energized....with an oxide core torus, there are multipule poles created when it is energized....this tool should shed some light on what is happening when a device isenergized......any thoughts ?.......david.....it would be nice to make a 3D compass cube!

How about replicating David's original device, but at like 6x scale? Use a pliable metal sheet, if you can get the right material and coating, and just make it BIG. Sheet should lend itself for good magnetic contact? Also, the wide contact patch might ensure minimal resistance.
Not sure how much EP it might be compatible with. More seems good, but the device must match it.

    hi

i am thinking that there are a couple of things that are required to make these devices work....i think that a battery must be used to charge the devices and that care must be taken to not let the coil get hot....there must be enough saturation to start a flow of energy through the device but not too much .....screaminverne was having trouble with his replication but his device is working now!.....a compass is a good tool to see if there is enough saturation.....there should be multipule poles when the device is charged.....i think?.....david

Schematic for EM probe with headset jack

Check this out: may be easy to build if you have an electronics background - should detect EM field energy: Electromagnetic Field Probe with Meter Output

    my PMH

Mine was very weak, and I had to hold the stone much closer than yours. I can tell that the size of the locked PMH ring (in all 3 axis) will influence the output force.

    Energy Fluid

I just re-watched your Energy Fluid video and this is probably the best example I have seen so far! Really exciting to see it following the inside of that tube. What is the tube made of? I noticed the machine was not spinning?

So it creates that effect even when sitting still?

I am still amazed that you were able to change the original design so significantly and get verifiable results - as some of the Senior members have said you intuitively knew to compress the tubes - how narrow to make them - and how to create good contact surfaces for an EM or EC lock in the parts.

Looking at your design I am also tempted to try horseshoes which are larger, naturally shaped like an open semi-circle and should lock nicely. Could also stack them 3 or 5 deep similar to Ed's design, but keeping the ends free like you did. So many ideas percolating - I need to try my own variations.

I can't say that I can feel a push like I did around my PMH - using that particular video. Have others had that experience? I would be surprised if I felt a push from a video capture - I feel like what you created with your rig is really something special that can't be detected with known video cameras - exception being maybe the test with the TV screen - I think I saw the effect a bit in that video.

Another question for you Dave - can you try to video the interaction with vermiculite - I am very intrigued by that! Maybe using vermiculite under or inside the rig when it's rotating would help intensify the "push."

Have you looked for a clear quartz crystal rod that you can try in the place of the geode or the steel weight?

    Thanks

    Shapes for PMH testing

    Hi all-

I would like to see someone test PMH shaped like the following:
Energize and spin these like Dave's rig, test for any sort of output.

I am planning to build a quatrefoil shape - I have the materials and tools now.

I am also curious on the impact of soldering, welding PMH pieces (before or after being energized). I applied scotch tape around the perimeter of mine to help keep it together under high rotational speeds (first attempt unlocked and flew apart due to centrifugal force).

    Corroborating Experience

    Hi-

So far, I have been a lurker in this thread, but also an avid reader of the forum and following David's YouTube vids. I KNOW that he is correct in describing what he feels / felt, while experimenting with his device.

Here is my experience: I don't have resources (time, mostly) to build David's rig. So I built a small 3" PMH which consists of two semi-circular pieces of spring steel, filed on the ends, to make a slightly oval profile. I used about 25 wraps of copper wire and energized with a car battery. Both halves are magnetized together (locked). The overall shape looks a bit like an egg. (There are no heels or legs sticking out.)

I mounted this to a circular piece of plastic with zip ties, used a carriage bolt with a hex-nut - on the underside of the disk - and place the bolt in my variable speed drill and spun it at approx. 500 RPM.

Using a variety of stones that I have collected over the years I tried every one (including Amethyst geodes which contain quartz) and felt very little - if anything.

Then I tried a green rock I have which is very heavy for it's size which definitely has a great deal of crystalline composition (might be a form of Serpentine). Using this rock I DID feel a PUSH in my hand which varied depending on how I moved the rock in relationship to the spinning PMH. Looking closely at this stone, it does have at least one surface which could be viewed as a "cavity" (CAVITATION?) that is a finger-nail sized depression in the surface. It was near this surface at about 10 degree angle to the spin plane, that provided the most feedback (although I sometimes did feel a similar push using a pointed end of the stone nearly touching the "axle."

Comment to Dave: Hang in there, buddy, I know you are right - check your geode for cavities / surface features that could be somehow collecting and amplifying the effect.

I also noticed that Dave's rig is without one feature that Ed's rig included (and I have seen it in other's pictures on the forum) which is the "Quatrefoil" shape (PMH?) on the top edge of Ed's machine. I would theorize that adding a part shaped like this on Dave's device may amplify or "tune" the output??

I am also in Oregon, I live well North of Dave, but both my wife and I have felt a clear "push" when moving this stone over the PMH. I am tempted to take it to his "neck of the woods" and try it there. I also saw (with my eyes) some "interaction" between the stone and the PMH but I doubt it could be filmed and I am trying to decide if I really saw what I believe I saw.

Also, I feel a little odd when I am around the PMH for extended periods of time. I slept with it on the night-stand last night and slept very well, but woke feeling very off - something in the pit of my stomach???
