Hi Arron this is all inverted, the big spark is when i tap the base of the first 2n3442 (thats all i had).I believe the sphere acts as a big cap when i do this the secordary sparks to the postive battery lead. also the compass span around.Originally posted by Aaron View PostAromaz,

Meaning, connect batt + to + on ignition coil primary.
Have the strip of transistors between negative on primary of ignition coil and the negative on the battery with all the emitters pointing towards the negative on the battery.
This way the positive potential from the battery is ALREADY sitting inside of the ignition coil. Then it is the negative potential that you are switching.
In another setup I had the base connect to a sphere then ground (well a clip to a brick) and the lights to a good ground and had purlpe and white spark coming from the brick !
@Anyone got any ideas whats going on?

I worked on the energy recovery part again yesterday but with disappointing results. I am still missing something. One of the problems is that we do not have meters that register this kind energy very well. The digital and even the analogue ones only hint at what is happening --and that can be misleading. JB said that this is like nervous energy. How do you measure that? Maybe by counting the number of eye twitches after too much coffee and no sleep?

@gnino: I will try to help in the new day. Send me some more photos of your circuit? Either here or PM above. Now I am a bit tired, gone to sleep. Better to go back to first original diagram on page 42/43 - even to present I find that one more stable. As JB says, "First get it working - then play it" .
Start by removing the 100 Ohm / 30 cm wire. Also get a earth/ground wire on hand, if you have only one 3055 slave transistor, you will mostly need to kickstart.
@Bodkins; last three videos might be of interest to you. Note I have gone way back to 1 + 1 + 3 trany's - which is more stability and predictable. However - Strange is still the keyword with this circuit.
@hoppy: thanks for the compliments. Agree with you. My crock clamps leads are all self made, I had similar experiences of melt off's. Now all are soldered in through hole and clamped down too. I use them only when I expect to move wires around often. Once I have an part set, or prefer to solder.

Aromaz-- Thanks for all the great videos. These are very helpful. Anyone new to this thread should take a look at them because they explain alot going all way back to the early "relay" days. I finished uploading four more videos, taking this series to an end. For some people it will be very boring, for some other it will be valuable. Anyway, it is there for everyone to see - if they wish.

my modification
whit me circuit don't run ever (aether make strange stuff)
so i modificate again now start ever (maybe)
pics: the first shot is when 2n2222a base is connect to cfl bulb
the second shot when is disconnect like the scheme
30cm of wire is indicative but necessary if you connect directly don't work

Great video presentation from Aromaz.
From the various videos I have seen most people seem to be using croc clips fore interconnections. I have found that when used with these high voltage circuits, the leads break down at the wire connection with the croc clip. This eventually leads to sparking at the connection which can cause the wire to part company with the clip. Most of the ready made croc clips I have used are not soldered joints and the wires are only badly crimped to the croc clips. I therefore suggest that all the joints should be checked and soldered if crimped.
Another observation is that current is being measured with digital voltmeters. This is a definate 'no no' on these very high voltage and inductive circuits, unless you wish to be badly misled over current consumption. This point was highlighted earlier but is worth reiterating. With regards to current consumption, I am finding with my experiments that the power consumed by the modified lamps and associated circuitry (when measured with an analogue ammeter) is quite close to the manufacturers ratings for the lamps when operating normally at mains voltage for an equivalent brightness.
I have tried running an unmodified lamp from my Bedini SG wheel energiser and it does work. The SG appears to tune itself in to the lamp after a period of time to reduce flickering and I suspect that the HV is bypassing much of the lamp circuitry and finding its way to the lamp element.

Relay
I work, found old style FIAT 5 contats relay, no welding of contacts, so far 4 days non stop is longest. Old UPS battery charges well, but also discharges well, hope will be able to recondition it after multiple charge cycles. thinking about switching two relays, with coils interconnected (parallel) by ends to each other to check if there is radian enegry current between ends of coils.Originally posted by Aromaz View PostI do not think so, but there seems to be a few new people that are working through the original circuit.
You want to split it? Might be good because this is getting very long to work through. BUT there are now quite a bit of back referals; espacially with Ren and Bodkins work on the groun batteries.

i am intrigued by this design of connecting the sphere to the base of the 2222. May look into this.
