Great news!! There is another way to drive the CFL. Bodkins thought of this way back and Slayer007 refined it. You use a reed switch with a magnet to drvie a Bedini like circuit into self-oscillation. It really works good. I built it today.

Bodkins, you are right on track to success, just keep going!

I got an idea about the grounding geometry for the cold current. Has anyone seen the Lichtenberger geometries? That kind of a grounding geometry should be worthwhile testing, many thin cables going deep into ground in different directions just like the nerve fibres of your body(1-wire system). Remember the stories of the grounding of Wardenclyffe, Tesla put 50% of his time underground digging channels...

In the Borderlands video, they were finding two resonant frequencies... one they called a "transverse wave" the other a "longitudinal wave"... I wonder if this is the same phenomena... one is sub-light the other is faster than light.

According to the article posted above...
"Because lines of flux exist between two opposite charges a dipole transmitting antenna is not needed. Curry proposed a dipole in order to create a wave of the proper length to be propagated through the medium. However, in electrostatics it is not necessary for flux lines to detach and close upon themselves to propagate an electric field. The field is established by the flux lines between the two points of charge. Curry misunderstood the nature of the electrostatic field. Once the field is established, a change in pressure on the charge will cause a variation in charge at the other end of the field - a displacement current.

Also, Tesla points out that a dipole is not needed to receive even low frequency signals in an electrostatic system. Tesla pictured his receivers with electrodes spaced a quarter wavelength apart but this was to charge an unpowered receiver as rapidly as possible. The receiver's capacitor would see maximum voltage changes, and, thus, would gain sufficient charge to power a device, if the ground electrodes had such a spacing. If, though, "the impulses are... are alternating, but sufficiently long in duration" they can be received by a single electrode that is turned on and off with the same period as the transmitter. Because the field's flux lines do not radiate but start at the transmitter and terminate on the receiver, the receiving structure does not have to be a specific shape or length."

I cant help thinking this is transmission of power in some way? need to get the receiver in resonance better.

Every guy has some good ideas, you just need to combine them. Baraka has completely forgotten about the important design of the "receiver" but you can see the receiver cable coming out 90 deg. from the spark gap along the concentric cylinders. So the important question is the geometry and materials of the receiver, I am sure you can get it right though. The concentric cylinders remind me of the flat pancake coils used in the Tesla coil.

Anyway, all of you should speak to a journalist about what you are doing and the kind of threats you feel, the more people the better, that way you will be more safe and if something happens it will help the development. And document as much as possible with other people in case something happens.

Now that Youtube closed Aaron out, why not put that BIG news(together with stories of other threats and murder stories of Meyer, Gray, Mallowe etc) on the frontpage of this site to get more members in here??!

That is good PR if you ask me. Normally these kind of events triggers twice as many people to do something. We should at least honour the people who died for this technology and use them for our good purposes.

Yeah so his wireless transmitter is really just in startup mode for the first 1 hr and 48 minutes...I wonder if this applies to a smaller transmitter.....
