    I'm not sure if you're referring to the pressure of the liquid or the pressure of the gas.

    Aren't Standard Atmospheres (ATM) used for air pressure?

    My understanding is relative density disequilibrium causes differential force to be applied to an object until relative density equilibrium is achieved.

    They don't want their projectiles missing their intended targets, do they?
