Hi Mark,

John explains on the DVD the timing of the switching of the magnetic poles and the timing of the re-gauging process. The blue LED is a big give away.

Let's all bury the hatchet on what I said about sharing the info on the DVD. That was a dumb thing for me to post. What's in it is definitely not worthless.

In your defense, I didn't include enough info in my post for you to really understand what I was saying. I was in a hurry.

I do have questions but am sure the DVD answers them quite nicely. I just want to read what you and others discuss for the time being.

I hope that Tesla switch is coming along nicely. I'll be at the conference this year to check everything out. It starts on my birthday!

chuck even gave you a bingo for that one. so many smart people in these pages. I'm honored to be able to post amongst you all. JB really wanted us to make that PMH work for a reason. And I believe him when he says we will fail if we make it small. I'm talking about the 10 coil in the middle when I talk about the re-gauging part of this build.
I'm thinking we might be able to use Strontium Ferrite Magnets?
I think JB also mentioned in these pages that he used barium for the "memory", I looked in wiki and the strontium seems to be similar. I'm able to find some disk (speaker) strontium magnets but no bar shaped ones. if anyone has a lead let me know I'ld like to give it a go.

I do apologise that your first post was read out of context, but now you have cleared it up I understand where you are coming from. Sometimes we all hit the "Submit" button when we shouldn't.

The DVD was very educational for me, John went into a lot of details about non-linear electromagnetics and how parts of the BFW were made and the reasons behind it. That gave me a lot of "uh-hah" moments. The explanation of the re-gauging motor series coil arrangement and how the barium magnets are made to flip their poles was extaordinary.

The reason for the main and slave coil off-set spacing was also further explained that what John has shared on the thread already.

If you have any questions, let them fly. I'm all ears.

re-gauging motor

After watching dvd 23 a few times, JB stated he used barium because they had a memory. He said Watson used barium as well. Is it even possible to build the re-gauging motor without barium ferrite magnets? Radus and Sweet also used barium. Since barium magnets are not available to my knowledge, will this work with standard ceramic magnets?

I don't want a copy of the DVD for free. I know that it costs money to produce a print of DVD's. That was not my concern.

I just don't think that the discussion of the DVD should be done through PM's. Speak about the DVD in a public forum so that everyone may read it and understand what is being said after they watch the DVD.

I ended up buying Peter's DVD so that I may follow what other people were talking about in the thread. Discussing amongst other experimenters on an open forum will interest other folks and probably boost the sales of the DVD.

So again, not asking for a free DVD, but I don't like missing out on potential enlightening discussion because I do not have the funds to buy the DVD right now.

Also, it just so happens that I go to work to make money to pay rent and bills only. I do not make huge amounts of money at all. My mind doesn't strive for money, only a change in the world. As a graduate of electrical engineering, I could go work for the new Volks Wagon plant that just opened up in my town and make plenty of money. I refuse to do so because they are owned by the same people we are fighting against.

I do often help my friends and neighbors without asking for a dime. I have some pretty awesome friends, and they do pay me back with other favors without me asking.

I could charge money for my services to my friends, but I rarely do. It would be nice if we all started thinking like this. We might cure the cancerous thought that is destroying us and this planet.

My 2 Cents worth

I've got a small stack of DVD's on my desk, several large spools of copper, lots of batteries, drawers of transistors, capacitors, reisitors, diodes, oh and aboout 50 lbs of magnets all in the garage. All of this plus a ton of knowledge is what I have gathered through the past year and a half with my new hobby. I have grown my origninal ssg into a multistrand muticoil machine that is getting more effiecient and powerful everyday, I make amazing discoveries. I am always getting closer and coser to the amazing overunitity machine. I owe all of this to what I have learned through this and other forums and videos purchased. I feel like I am the winner here and i am not stopping anytime soon. As to the cost of the videos.....double it and I will still buy it.

You won't offend me because it's my choice whether you do or don't. Say what you want to say, it doesn't bother me. Just keep it clean for the sake of the kids that might be reading.

I thought the Kromrey DVD was an excellent presentation on the theory of it's operation.

In answer to your question, my answer is 100%. John gives enough information on how to build it. The theory is not that hard to grasp.

Fukushima was a pretty horrible disaster. Tornadoes just destroyed the power grid in the southeast United States. I think money should be the least of anybody's worries. Open source all.

We just finished watching - re-watching re-watching....
anyone trying to build the re-gauging part of this, this is the vid. it does not get into the ckt but it does not look like that much of a stretch. the big stuff is everything else. In a hundred years I would not have put 1 and 1 together to make 1100 here.

I finally got my copy of DVD#23. (It takes time to ship to Australia) I agree with Patrick, if you are replicating the Bedini Ferris Wheel you need this DVD. John goes into so much detail about how he built this. There are a lot of intricate details that have not been discussed on this thread that are very important.

If anyone who has the DVD wants to swap thoughts with me, please PM me. I think it's only fair that the people who spent the $30 to get the DVD don't need to discuss it in the public forum.

I'm glad I watched it before I went back to building, just to make sure I'm building it right. It will save me a lot of time and money, worth more than the $30! I've already spotted a few mistakes I've made.
