The coil is not exactly wound bifilar all cw winds are separated and connected together and all ccw winds are separated and connected together.

When you wind a coil back and forth as with normal wound coils every other wind is cw and every other wind is ccw, Im sure a normal wound bifilar is the same, or is it
    So much to do

A coil can be wound bifilar and if you make the connections right the coil has no magnetic field, this intrigued me so I put one in ice to see if the electric field was canceled as well, here's what I found.
the first pic is a normal coil fed dc

This coil was wound bifilar and connected so as to cancel the magnetic field

As you can see the electric field is still there it is not canceled, and it appears to have two electric fields, Id bet they counter rotate.
It would be worth a shot to use a coil like this in the Don Smith setup, since these fields seem to repel each other it would seem they would repel when pulsed.
After the cell has thawed Im going to freeze it again using ac, stay tuned

A winding jig for the cores is easy to make
I'll wind 3 separate cores on the first
    then 6 on second
    then 9 on the third

Trace the pos through the system, then trace the neg, it works.
The current moves on through the system, its the pos that gets kicked back (the voltage) but this compensates for it and uses it to drive the system.

Notice the direction of the diodes across the coils, but the coils have the same polarity.
They have the same polarity but are putting out alternate fields.
Its the direction of current through the coil plus its winding direction.
They freewheel so the kickback just spins them up faster, each spinning the other, now thats freewheelen

The bemf in the circuit is satisfied
The bemf in the core is satisfied
The circuit is feeding the magnetic field
The magnetic field is feeding the circuit

    The electric field is satisfied
