Could we wrap a coil around the centertap and pulse it.
If this really works it will teach us.

I wonder if the counter wound center tap is pulling from the other side of the field.

Hmm this is interesting, I wonder if his coil is completing the path

Yes and the Hendershot device, the magnet is also backed with mumetal this could be having an effect as well.
I may play with this a bit, I wonder does he mention the diameter of the core anywhere.

Hmm seems he took the backing off in some of his vids

Reminds me of: Roy J. Meyers Absorber
See: Roy J. Meyers: Absorber (Atmospheric Electrical Generator)
Look for figure 8 - the one with the horse shoe magnets where wires are wrapped around it and then taped in the middle.

Or we can do it like Hendershot did it.

We are not going to understand or achieve overunity until we start to understand and use both polarity's.
Ole Ben Franklyn was half right, we have two polarity's running in a circuit, and we have to collect both.

Using heavy wire with just a few turns means less resistance, allows the coils to run at a higher frequency, allows the magnetic field to build a collapse quickly.
About the shorted secondary winding should it be of a higher impedance, is there a harmonic relationship here.
Should the shorted secondary be wound cw and ccw as well.
Can this be made into a dual rail use one rail to loop and draw from the other rail.

A variant of the ZVS should improve efficiency, may just need single cap between the coils and no pos lead at all.

Adjusting the 470 ohm resister may be needed.
If it doesnt burn the core up, it could get explosive
