just a little info that might be worth exploring ( mentioned it to slider ) with your battery mix as most of us has a fridge
How to Revive a Dead Laptop Battery with Step-by-Step Pictures
The same freezer that holds your frozen pizzas and TV dinners can often bring seemingly-dead laptop batteries back to usable (though not quite like-new) condition.
some info : besides water expanding on freezing

--------------------- the idea
2 AAA batteries ( that have no juice left )
1 mobius caduceus coil ( MC coil )
1 freezer
1 9 V battery
will coil the MC Coil around one AAA battery and hook it up to the 9 V battery and put in the freezer ( it might restructure the inside while it freezes )
the second battery will also be put in the freezer ..... 24 hours ( i guess ) ..... will compare the result
