Well, let me introduce myself: I have been following the SR for long time. Now i starting develop my own replica, based on SR version. Powered up with 9-12v. Anyway, it's not important how the engine starts. The point we need to concentrate is
a) the coil with Fe and various windings.
B)automatic re-oscillating by and extra Coil winding (the small coil under the main coil of SR device: the kickcoil?)
C) it's fact that's not just a few transistors, resistors .... It's and intelligent reoscilating circuit with additional logic counters ic4011...
Anyway that just my opinion, hope this thread is not dead. I fell It that we close to made it working.

What I need is sinewave powerfull inverter.To get pure 50hz sinewave.What i'm using now is very pure sinewave but not much power and very complicated : I use Wien bridge sinewave generator with one stage amplifier using LM358 and then car audio dedicated audio-amplifier chip from TDA series.I've got 20W of pure sinewave with less then 0.5% distortion. I would like to test other method with higher power , I need probably 100-300W sinewave inverter with resonable 1% distortion.
In fact I have started my adventure with free energy from 555 chip and that was very bad mistake all people are doing all the time. Frequency is not important,could be from very wide range while fall and rise time is what matters.At least in some class of devices.
