Looks like you tried to retrieve your wedding ring from the automatic garbage disposal! I'm glad the bearings worked; That setup appears to be very clean. Don't re-open the wound. Looking foward to another video. Be careful.
I was strapping down hay on the bed of my dump truck and jumped off the side smack my hand a metal fence post with some barbed wire on. I don't know what got me the wire or the post but it did a good job.

What's wrong with this picture? Dude's got a powerful 20 pounds of pull, 3/4" neo tube magnet with 1" clearance on each side from the magnetic bearings! Really, really stupid!
What I need is a CNC program to help fashion an axle for the original 1/4" O.D. precision ceramic bearings I called for. Is there anyone out there who would be willing to help me?

This one's the best; Two large steel ball bearings between two disc magnets in attraction. A precision perpendicular gudgeon and pintle, at the base with no downward pressure on the base of the pintal, just in suspension, would produce frictionless high speed air cushion, zero wobble stability! The suspension bearings at the top can float completely apart by a tiny space! No physical contact what-so-ever is achievable.
Another stability alternative would involve a second set of disc magnets and ball bearings, narrowly seperated in attraction, at the base:
I realized that it would be possible to mount the diametic spinner vertically like the large flywheel in the above post. This appears as though it may solve alot of problems. I checked K & J Magnetics, and they sell steel balls in all sizes. A diametric tube with a 1/4" center hole can house a pin with a 1/4" axial disk on each end with 1/4" steel balls attached to them. It would only take two additional 1/4" axial disks and two more steel balls to complete the frictionless vertical axle. This could easily mount inside a PVC coupling with CD top and bottom. The Reed switch power coil would simply enter through a drilled hole in the side.

The truth is I built his little motor but I am not going to post anything on it as it pertains to Allen. I have added him to my ignore list and I know longer care to interact with him or promote his projects that he attempts to force on other people.
I will though, when I am done, show the motor in its evolved state. Its unfortunate that Allen has too much frustration from his day to day life that he cannot interact with people in more hospitable manner, but he made the choice now he gets to live with it. He also gets to watch as his original idea moves forward without any credit or interaction for himself.
Its just a shame.
This won't be the first time I was robbed of any credit; Tinselkoala and Milehigh pulled the same stunt on my Overunity "Self Accelerating Reed Switch" thread where I played a key role in the early development of the "MHOP", and was cheated out of any credit due! Try to keep me on your phony "Ignore List" bub!
Seating the base of the axle in a sleeve has the great advantage of containing the spinner if the steel balls seperate overhead. The spinner should just drop harmlessly into the sleeve; The other special feature is the ability to control the magnetic attraction of the steel balls by placing a stack of washers over the top. Removing a portion of the washers lessens the attraction strength between the balls. No physical contact should be necessary between the magnetic suspension balls overhead, or the base of the axle and the seating sleeve below.
This approach should be better then a simple bearingless neo sphere spinner, because it reduces the pressure and friction of a sphere spinning on a glass surface. Also we enjoy the stability factor.
Two of these 1/4" disc magnets for $0.27 apiece and two 1/4" steel balls for $0.13 apiece are all that would be required for the overhead suspension bearing:
You started this motor project over 50 days ago, and you're not done yet. You were warned by me at the outset not to try and run this motor outside a protective housing! The spinner can reach hyper-sonic velocity with unanticipated rapidity. Be Carefull!
