They showed how the metal cups could be charged with electrons, positive in the top copper cup and negative in the bottom copper cup. These two copper cups had a glass flask separating them because we know what happens when a positively charged metal meets a negatively charged metal, the sparks begin to fly. However they removed the charging leads and then removed the two copper cups, from the glass flask, and touched them together and guess what...no spark. Yet when they reassembled them with the glass container the electricity was still there and it discharged when they shorted them. It was said that the electricity must have been stored on the surface of the glass. We all know that capacitors are for storing high amounts of electrical voltage. And once again the voltage being on the exterior.
What if the voltage, as we know it flows along the exterior of metal while amperage flows in the interior? Just a thought through observation. Would this make a difference when it comes to superconducting?
