HERE IN gUANZHOU China 7 to 12 USD 5 w bulbs depending on the quality which is much higher good ones they say ???? for a 3 watt bulb with yellow flat leds cost a fortune 15 USD .. dont know if my friend is cheating me lol

Still expensive if applied in 3rd world countries so I will opt for the fluorescent lamps till the prices go down

I bought a 6.3W 360 Lumen NIKKON brand for 17 USD
It gives me the same light output as a 14W CFL ) That's 2 times less power used ) (They have the same design as Lasersaber's)

By the way they contain a circuit with a tiny transformer (certainly to step down the local 240V), for the 3 LED innside.
The question is : is this circuit/transformer taking part in the efficiency of the JR ?
To the contrary the CFL have a step-up voltage circuit

I agree with totoalas that it is too expensive for our countries, and I am thinking about building my own LED "bulbs", with may be 10 or more cheap white LEDs, to bring the cost down to 1 or 2 USD per bulb )

When I say "manufacturing such efficient system" for poor people, I mean finding local NGOs willing to manufacture such devices, and giving them some funds to start the process.
Don't get me wrong, I am not interested to make money from that for myself !
That's a main motivation for my quest for free-energy since many years.
I have seen too many houses without light in my travels ...

Another point : Does this Joule Ringer run the air cooling fan ?
It would be GREAT !!

Hi Tresor good point Just break one lead bulb and found one resistor only 47 ohms not sure
for the air cooling fan check dc magverter using a dc motor and ring magnets
Ithink if we put a capacitor on one of the tap output (110 0 0 110) we can achieve the cooling fan or maybe power up lidmotor or skycollection tetra something motor

I opened a 3W-240V LED bulb, they put lots of stuff inside !!


Totoalas, if you don't have a transformer inside your bulb, it might be a 12Volt one, with 3 LED in series, and a resistor to limit the current ...

I totally agree with the high intensity leds coming out in the market theres nothing we can do but for somebody to design a cheap led lol
I found it amusing that even here in China the cost is prohibitve either you order a container van to get the right price you want
Tresor youre correct the one I opened is for 12 v dc
In the Philippines , they matched the price in China fo a 5 watt led bulb cost 1`2USD which not everybody can afford .....

Hi boguslaw, to my opinion, and by my modest experience in goods manufacturing/engineering, I would say that the most expensive part in the above 3W-240V bulb, is the cast aluminum socket, that is an essential part for cooling in this LED bulb design !
It could be called a quite inefficient design, putting 3W of power on just 3 LEDs, and packing them in such a small area.
I am convinced that it would be cheaper to use a larger number of lower power LED spread on a larger area, and powered by a larger voltage and lower current.
But of course they need expensive parts and nice design to sell them expensively, and to keep competition behind.

There is always the problem of old stock in bringing new products ... lots of shops have large stock of CFL bulbs, and investors have put millions in CFL factories, so none of them is interested in bringing to mass market cheap LED bulbs ...

We must consult Lidmotor for a design using kitchen parts, like plastic boxes to fit all the parts inside and have a waterproof design

Youre right again on the aluminum heat issues .... the one I used in the video have a magnifying clear plastic which give the plus effect in illumination

I m thinking of existing fluorescent lamp conversion to slayer ckts which has no ballast starter and just a coil transistor resitor and diode component
NILS lighting using 12 v solar panels will satisfy this

Replication of the 2.0

I replicated the "Super Joule Ringer 2.0" today and made a video of it. I built the transformer using the bell wire and used that Lowes 40 watt LED bulb.
All I can say is that this is very impressive. I just wish that I understood how the circuit worked.
