I didn't learn this in school, but you can in fact transfer energy between a capacitor and an inductor -- similar to mutual induction in a transformer. AC currents can flow through their AIR (or other dielectric) between surfaces that are part of the capacitor and wire surfaces. This opens the possibility of having a new sort of electronic device which I lovingly call the "Coilpacitor".
Electricians are taught NOT to wrap wires around copper tubing.
But heck, I'm not an electrician. Lets do it...

I think the winding on the CH1 and CH2 coils need to be cw on one and ccw on the other.
If you have cw and ccw, then you wire the TOP wires together and power it using the bottom wires. If you have turns in same direction, the bottom of one coils is wired to the top of the other. Either way you end up with N/S on the two solenoids, and then S/N when you pulse the other way.
So you can wire it either way.
I've seen it depicted the two different ways in various schematics.
Its probably not crucial and may only make a slightly subtle difference in the overall performance.

Very. Always fun to play with free energy - even if people don't believe it's possible

caps source info - waiting on answer from supplier

    Hello Dave45,

    clarence here,

I have just e-mailed the spec requirements from a good source and am waiting for their answer back to me. The company I notified to was the NICHICON capicitor co. they have a new type of bipolar cap. it is their VP series bipolar screw terminal can type capacitor. I requested they send me the part numbers for their VP series bipolar screw terminal can 500uf 500v
and also their VP series bipolar screw terminal can 1000uf 500v capacitors which they supposedlly have and also to advise me of their closest distributor to me. they acknowledge having thanked me for requesting their components and acknowledged having receieved my transmision request!

so I will await their return message to me. LOL for us all - we'll see.

    Building

When you finally settle on the Caps used inside of the main coil they will have a tolerance that needs to be considered. The coil L1a and Cap C1 must be tuned to be the same as L1b and C2. You will have to adjust the turns ratio to get the resonance to match. Good luck on your building. I am investigating the Hendershot model 1 which has nothing to do with the version you are trying to build.

Morpher did some experiments with the buzzer coils and found he could spin a compass or actually two compasses both in the same direction, he was using factory solenoid coils that Im sure were wound in the same direction, if they were wound opposite I'll bet the compasses would rotate opposite.

Here is circuit with my edition for easy reading and filled gaps as per original PDF:

We all together can ressurect it bit by bit. That means lots of attempts and experiments with how each component is supposed to work in this circuit...

In this link the author says the caps are 450 volts, but at 40-80 mfd.

Im not sure how the magnetic field effects the cap, whats interesting in Hendershot's original design the cap lined the inside of the basket coils.

I was wondering about the voltage of the caps as well, I am gathering parts and if it works as he says I am definitely going to send this guy the money for the plans.

It looks as though the transformer are used opposite one is stepping up and the other is stepping down, not sure Im still studying the schematic.

What I like about the device is no battery and no drive circuit, the magnet is the source.
