What type of paper is used to seperate the foil in the handmade caps? I keep reading craft paper, then thin craft paper, then thin paper (KRAFF) Kraft? Is Kraft a brand name? I found some Kraft paper, but it doesn't seem to thin, it is brown colored. What about the other thicker paper, what type of paper is that?

Any links of where I can get this type of paper?

I thought it was Grease Proof Paper like for cooking

Hey I had more of a thought on the Tweaking Lester did
Maybe we should more along the lines of Priming like a Diesel Engine
Once its Primed it can flow with no blockages and start
That may Had been what he was doing Priming his device to allow the flow process to happen

Part of the myth is that the machine would only work for Lester. Not exactly true because his kids could start it up, or so I read.

Anyway, I don't think his machine RELIED on Lester's CHI (Qi) energy to keep running. If that were the case it would be this horrible "Matrix" like device sucking human energy to power some light-bulb or motor. It would certainly be depressing.
I wouldn't rule out, that Lester's CHI might have STARTED the machine. Certainly in playing around with air coils, and inductance, and Theramins, etc. the human body can influence coils and impedance, etc.
There are very subtle energies not well understood.

Yes I agree that the Magnetometer should be looked at and understood, as well as the Induction Compass. These are devices that Hendershot was trying to improve upon. He was making circuits of this nature.

Some thoughts re: the Magnetometer video:

1. Hendershot was not using magnets in a static way -- with static fields. Rather, what I think Hendershot was doing was wiggling the static fields with his solenoid device, such that they would spray the field LEFT then RIGHT. Generation of power can occur if the fields are moving and the coils are stationary -- opposite to what occurs in an induction compass. The trick would be to move these fields with a small amount of power, and establish an equilibrium that is oscillating.
2. Light bulbs are low-resistance loads. They can be in series with your circuit, and will not dampen the oscillation too much -- depending upon the values you have in your LRC circuit.
3. Large coils and capacitors - tank circuits -- can store and smooth out the energy as long as you are TUNED to the oscillation. If you are off-tune, if your impedence calculations are wrong, the signal will dampen to rapidly. Hendershot was known to tweak his capacitors with clips (a crude variable capacitor) and to chop off, or lengthen the loops in his coils until he achieved the correct tuning.
4. The Earth's field, depending upon location, is an implicit magnetic field to also consider. Hence your N-S vs E-W orientation, may add to, or subtract from, whatever you are trying to make oscillate with low-frequency oscillations. The FOOT-PRINT of your fields change as you change this orientation. Its subtle -- 50 microteslas say. You need much stronger magnets to overpower the Earth field effects.
5. If you can create a sort of VORTEX with your magnetic fields, and if that VORTEX is a spinning torsion field that is strong than the Earth's field, you possibly can SUCK particles down into a smaller are for impact on to metal plates, or cylinders. This makes it so that you don't need a GIGANTIC plate for energy capture. Your vortext is guiding the incoming radiant energy down INTO your target area. Again, this effect would only happen when the magnetic field strength here starts to be large enough to overpower the Earth's field. If the magnetic field was parallel, the NMR would be a constant circumference SPIN. If the magnetic field is a vortext, the particles SPIN in a spiral with reducing diameter down to your target.
6. One thing no one has discussed is whether or not Hendershot wired up his solenoid in the magnetomer fasion. I wonder...

I watched a Video tonight on YouTube a guy playing about with Magnets and coils
