    Just dont expect, that someone will rebuild it.
    The Internet is full with thousands of Plans and Theories from Things, and Peoples, what cite the Big Masters said, and deliver 'This Sure Works'.
    But there is No Progress, its all only Hot dry Air.
    They only bloating Sites, where nothing comes around.

    When you have a good Improvement for the Switch, then build one, and put it into the Thread.
    So simple.
    But not doing a lot Theory, and, as allready did happen,
    Make the big Thread about something like "This is the Free Energydevice",
    and someone else did rebuild it, and nothing Worked, because someone had a Theory.

    All what you do with unproven Theories is to abuse The Free Energy Devices,
    what do work, or even better then normal one, and the Peoples what are working on it,
    because, when someone spend his Time and Money to effort it, and build it,
    and nothing Works, they Blame the Whole Free Energy and all the right Theories about, that its Crap and are Lies.
    And only, because someone had a Theory, what Sure work.


    Its even so simple, to start tinkering. Just take some Things apart, and you will see, how much usefull Parts are in.
    And its way better this Way, that you can come to a real Solution of a working Device.

    Joit, disregard my previous post about keeping a secrete. Since this is science, so let me be straight forward.

    My comments are out of common sense, not because I have built one. When capacitors are used, I would recommend careful choice of MOSFETs too.

    Hope you find this plan interesting.

    how I came about this plan

    Here is how I came about this circuit:

    First of all, the discussion on this forum here already pointed me to some very good information sources (well, some of them I knew earlier from other sources). The transformer idea is borrowed from the Eike Muller report, obviously . But in that report, BJT transistors are used, which will reduce the chance of success since clean switching will be hard (if not impossible) to achieve (Well, the solid state replication was done by Panacea that follows Eike Muller report was not successful, probably for the reason I have given). Also, way too many diodes are used. I would like to get thing as simple as possible.

    After much research and learning, and a lot of failures (in doing simulations), I came about this nice and clean idea, which is elegantly simple, but meeting all the design challenges without any compromise.

    Now I put this into the public domain for those who are interested, and for those who can understand the simplicity and the beauty in this design.

    But, I would rather keep the answer to your question a secrete: sorry, I just can't tell you -- it is really hard too .

    But I agree with Xenomorph, theory can't substitute experiment.

    If you want to have very clean switching, MOSFETs are recommended. If you use BJT transistors, there shall be current in the trigger coil, and it will take some time to shut off. With MOSFETs, NO current will be present in the trigger coils (which also implies that you can wind trigger coils with very thin wires), and therefore you can have very clean switching. Hope this helps.

Not sure if the suggested replacement components really translate that well into the real world. I can only encourage you to build it, the Tesla switch field is very promising.

    Simplest Solid State Tesla Switch!

    This circuit should be the easiest to tune as well (Reason: when the pulse is at 6V, all transistors should be open switch, so logically, there will never be battery shorts). The pulse voltage source V5 can be replaced by a 555 astable circuit. V6 can be obtained by using an equal voltage divider (two 5K resisters, for example) sharing the same power as the 555 circuit. All the JBT transistors can be replaced with equiv. MOSFETs. I used voltage dependent current source and a resistor to mimick the behavior of a transformer. You can use 4 transformers instead in your implementation (MOSFETs are probably better than JBTs, I am affraid, as MOSFETs have no gate current). I used no diodes for switching purpose in this circuit. LTspice simulation is performed and the plot of the current over the load R3 is given below (I omitted the two capacitors at each end of the load R3 for the sake of simulation, in your implementation, you should include them).
