John says in THE video that when the setting made the cap will discharge
at the voltage not based on time. His waits for the set voltage to dump.
This can be done using zeners at the base of the transistor creating
an automatically fired "ADJUSTABLE CROWBAR"
I talk about the simple "CROWBAR" extensively in the adjacent thread

How do you plan to protect capacitors from overvoltage ? I'm pulling hairs from my head trying to implement simple and effective solution.
