Introduction to myself

Hey everyone. I'm a newbie.

Anyways, I guess my first question while joining this forum is this....

How expensive would it be for me to build a green home from scratch? Lets just say I'de like a small one or two story house about the size of a trailer. I'de like to use recycled materials and I'de DIE for one of those wind mills to run the whole place. Solar power is a POSSIBILITY, but I hear they're very expensive. When all is said and done, I can put it all on one bill and just make payments like a regular house payment right?

If you get a loan you can definitely do that. I wonder if the new stimulus could be helpful for that kind of loan and/or maybe even a grant. You might try a local non-profit on energy conservation or a related field to see if they can offer any guidance on that.

(I can't remember right now how I added my sig line, sorry.)

building your own green home sounds wonderful!

You can set a signature by logging in, going to your user CP and then going to edit signature. The user CP will show at the top of the page and then the edit signature appears at the left side.
