  • No Doubt in Mike

    Hi Tutanka,

There is no doubt in my mind that Mike plans on sharing all the details of his water splitting device with us or why would he have wasted his valuable time coming this far with his explanations. I'm sure he has other things he could be doing since he works 12 hour days over there in Europe. Like most of us though, I don't think he appreciates anyone messing with him. I suggest we leave him alone and let him share what he is going to share. I'm sure we'll get more information if we do it this way.

    Best Regards,
    Slovenia

Surely you are an young man.. For my direct experience Mike explain only in part.. the important parts don't are shared..

      • Proprietary

I'm sure he knows some more expedient ways to do this process but they are probably proprietary and/or dangerous information to release.

        • Sharing info

@ tutanka, I don't know your age but I am 64 years old. I have followed your posts for the past several months. I think it is hilarious that you say mike won't share his info. You have been promising us for months you would show us a car running on H2O. I still haven't seen it. Instead of harassing Mike who is actually sharing real info with us instead of promises why don't you go back to your own thread and see if you can get that car to run and leave Mike alone.

@ Mike, Thank you for so generously sharing what you have learned. I haven't posted in this thread because I didn't feel I had anything to offer, but I read every new post.

          Thanks again, Carroll
Just because someone disagrees with you does NOT make them your enemy. We can disagree without attacking someone.

SURELY THAT YOU HAVE 64 YEARS??
SORRY BUT I DON'T HAVE PROMISE ANITHING!! I HAVE SPENT SOME TIME ON PROTOTYPES BECAUSE ONLY THAT IS VERY IMPORTANT STAGE FOR REACH SUCCESS AND YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT INFOS SHARED FROM ME TO MIKE AND VICEVERSA.
                I REPEAT AGAIN..
I HAVE STOPPED TO WORK WITH MIKE BECAUSE HIM DON'T SHARE COMPLETELY THE INFORMATIONS BUT ONLY IN PART. HOWEVER YOU ARE FREE TO BELIEVE IN ME OR NOT AND YOU ARE EVERY FREE TO SPENT MONEY AND TIME WITH MIKE. BYE

                • Full parts list for those who want to build the electronics

Here is a full parts list for those who want to build this, NO OBLIGATIONS.
I have decided to split the two frequency circuits as it is simpler to build and leaves open future possibilities for experimenting with frequencies which I never had time to do in the past.

From Mini Circuits you will need:-

                  1 ZX95_1200W+ VCO
                  1 ZX95-200-S+ VCO
                  2 SM-BF50 SMA-male to BNC female adaptors

                  From where ever:-

                  1 Motorola 85Y12 RF amp
                  1 Toshiba S-AV10L amp

                  4 LM317 voltage regulators
4 22K multi turn resistors, two of which should be good quality (panel mounting)
                  4 1.8K resistors
4 100mh chokes, two for 5amp min and the others does not matter
                  4 100mf electrolytic caps
4 100nf ceramic caps or other type
                  1 6" X 4" DOUBLE sided blank PCB board cut in half 3" X 4"
5mtrs 50 ohm RF coax cable
8 BNC RF male connectors (for coax)
6 BNC RF female panel mounting connectors
                  1 3" X 3" 12v cooling fan
1 Aluminium box 222mmX146mmX55mm or there abouts with lid (die cast is best)

1 Power supply 12-15v dc 10amp fully smoothed.

I think that is all you need and it will be at the least cost.

I will answer any questions when I can as I am a bit busy at the moment with work that I have neglected.

                  Mike

Thanks Mike for the shopping list.

You do have an exciting thread going here.

                    • As I surf looking for PSUs ECT when I see a circuit that I think can assist everyone in this construct I Include the link for consideration I think this MAY prove to be such a one ( later on) although the power considerations have to be taken into account .It is functional at UHF Wideband SWR meter

Very nice post Duncan and shows how easy a SWR meter is to make. I will try and put it into a more usable form for construction so as it can be used up to 1Ghz.

Thinking now it would be good to put a low power switch on the transmitters, this is easy to do by switching in the full resistance of the voltage adjust pot of the amp power control, I will put it into any circuit that I draw up for this.

                        • What did we now decide on as the VHF amp.
The S-AV10L does not look like it is available.
The ZX95_1200W+ VCO and ZX95-200-S+ VCO has got 10mW (10dBm) outputs. Will it be enough as inputs for the 10W amps?
Doing it this way will be cheaper but how are we going to adjust the outputs 6x apart without a spectrum analyser? I only got a 100Mhz scope.

some thing like ... GOOIT GY560 Frequency Counter for Ham Radio on eBay (end time 11-Oct-10 16:48:01 BST)
might do the job (I hope)

                            • You are fast!!
That could work for us if you hold the aerial near the amp. I think .And it's cheap.
Any idea on the VHF amp that work from a 1mW input?
I found the local supplier for Mini Circuits here in South Africa. They do ask double the price but that is ok as Mini Circuits do not ship here for cheap and this way I know I will get it.
I still want to try the components on a pc board.
The POS-200+ and the POS-1000W+. They are much cheaper and how difficult could it be to make a pc board for it.

The S-AV10L should be available, I have seen it in some places on the web.
10mw is plenty to drive these amps and others to 10-15w.
The frequency is linear with the control input voltage, you can use the table supplied by Mini Circuits on the data sheat and put a volt meter on the control line, its that simple.

We are now talking 135mhz and 810mhz so the sizes I gave for the antennas have now changed, I will recalculate and give you them at a later date.

If I can find a site with the toshiba amp I will post it.
