Not much to tell really. There's a yahoo group called water car and being I was going to be in the Philippines I thought I might take a shot of meeting him. I contacted the moderator and after a week or so a meeting was set up. Dingel is in his 80s now and still working on things not just his water car. He was enthusiastic showing off the things he was working on but quiet when asked more pointed questions like why he wasn't promoting boosting at least in his own country and what exactly his converter was. It's a black box that sits between a type of ignition coil and his reactor. I respected his privacy. He works with simple materials obtained from junkyards and seemed fascinated with solenoid coils. I only spent a couple of hours with him; I'm reluctant to say that his car truly runs on water but there's water in the box and it turns to gas and he pipes it into the engine and the engine runs. He said that his car was using more vacuum than compression in its operation. It seems more refined and simpler now than the last video he did. He's a very simple man in my opinion who seems bitter at being unable to pass on his knowledge and benefit his people (and himself) at the same time. Anyway that was late January 2010 that I met him. Dingel and his associates were very gracious to me. I wasn't looking to screw them over either. From listening to him he was self taught and made his discoveries independent of anyone else working in the field. So if there's similarities between him and Meyer or anyone else it's coincidental.

dingel is an old stabburen man but we are working on it....
i hope he will not take his wisdom to the grave with him...
he is over 80 y.o can hardly speak or hear...

His vision isn't the best. He seemed in relatively good health to me. That was a few months ago though...
