Hello...
I'm new here. I've been really interested in renewable energy. I've particular interest in the Bedini motor.
Recently I managed to make my first working SSG circuit and coil. It's a little different from the usual circuit I've seen. Particularly the extra resistor, only 300-400 winds on my coil, a 1N4006 diode instead of the 1N4007 (store was out of them)... and I've been using Riobi Ni-Cd 18volt batteries. Not sure if that's a good idea but it's all I have at the moment.
I've been running a number of tests on the motor to see if I'm getting more charge in than I'm using. It's efficient but I'm loosing a little each time I swap the batteries. I'm not sure if that's the way it is or if I'm doing something wrong (probably the latter).
I've made a schematic image of my circuit. If anybody has any ideas I'd appreciate any help you can offer.
Thanx,
Anonymussle
