I remember many people in academia were involved in the original Pons and Flieshman big-to-do carnival of irrational denial in Utah in 1989 /1990... as skeptics. They were wrong then about LENR... as it was reproduced in many other places, but nearly always outside of the US for some "strange" reason (it is now theorized that the only available supplier of Palladium at the time, was selling it with unacceptable levels of impurity). Many peer-reviewed papers on successful LENR experiments can be seen here

The United States government has publicly admitted that LENR is a valid and important technology. The Naval Research Lab experiments have seen COP's of at least "17", and the Energetics "25".

That work based on Deuterium (and that has been moving forward for 22 years now), has little to do with Rossi's device today.... unless they share the same type of biasing electromagnetic waveform as the "secret sauce" "catalyst".

This is the most important message to remember if this does not turn out to be what we all hope it is:

I have to say despite the disappointment with a high price that Andrea Rossi is very courteous and respectful, any one would say that if you talk to him, i am glad a decentralized version can be made, i think the reason he is still here is because of movements like ours and the work any one does in open source FE, it would be too much of a spot light on them if they took Andrea Rossi away holding his secret sauce....i think we are all just getting too big now and could expose it in a greater capacity...

I know radiation a a popular phenomena with (pseudo)nuclear events. But it's not ABOUT the radiation here, is it? It's a valid concern based on vaguely similar other technologies used to kill whole cities in the name of peace, but until worrysome amount of radiation are found, let's just be interested in how the heck he did it?

Until you know the exact formula and technique Rossi is in fact using (preferably from your own physical analysis), and the exact contents of the produced ashes, what value does speculation about the amounts of radiation have? Especially as the ashes themselves offer pleasant surprizes.

A master chef can admire an amazing recipe of a souschef, and not figure out why it could produce such an amazing taste. Even if he knows the kitchen where it was cooked inside out. All the ingredients (periodic table) and known cooking and baking techniques (heating, indiction, etc). Yet he can't figure out how to come to such pruduct. More, or all pieces of the puzzles need to be known.
As long as known radiation types coming from Rossi's device are within safety margins, he has no reason to reveal his recipe, just to gain our trust. Bessler didn't tell us his trick, but left hints. We'll get more motivated to try an figure out what Rossi managed, when his success continues.

Possibly related : the GEET fuel/exhaust system was at one point claimed to product lighter elements. Could atoms be more pliable than we've been told they were?

Hank Mills, is not at all happy with this video pushing the Widom Larsen theory. He think scientists are jumping on the WL theory because it makes this a non-fusion event, as a graceful way to let off the scientific community who has poo poed the cold fusion field this all these years.

I would like to give a link to a video to show one method of converting heat, possible to use hot cat as a heat source.
It is the radial design that I wanted to highlight. Looks like Bob Teal design a little, also note the flywheel.
some close-up detail is shown. The concept of attraction motor/ generator like Teals having 20 hp
would allow putting various loads without drawing more amps which is only with attraction motors.
This is not the magnipulsion motor but a marriage of the two would allow a home to go off grid using a
hot cat and a central water heater. the high temperature ones (crossfire) may mave future applications for
space exploration, the lower temperature in my opinion would be safer for individuals.
