The Flood, is God so pathetic in his punishment techniques as to utterly and miserably fail to kill off the aborigines, American Indians, Chinese, freshwater fish as all lakes on earth would have been ocean salinity. All farm-able land would have been salted. By the way how long did they have to wait for the south american tree sloth's or the Tasmanian tiger or kangaroos and who put them back.

I was raised baptist but having too many viable neurons to rub together caused a violent rejection of gibberish being submitted literally as gospel truth.

God exists however, I do not believe that God is as petty, half assed and f'd up as the various beliefs of the religions of the world present Gods "truth" to make "him" out to be.

I draw a line in the sand.
On one side we place ALL we know or have learned or can PROVE without a doubt.

On the other side of the line I place what can NOT be proved or disproved.

I place both religion's god and science's infinity on the other side of the line that we ALL cross over eventually.

That may be so but there is a valuable lesson that should be gleaned from some of this. You cannot take single sentences from the bible and use them wily nily. That is not to say that some passages cannot be used apart from the whole, but if anyone wants to know the truth about the Holy Scriptures they must read them in context and preferably in sincere prayer.

I think that applies to all written works such as those by Tesla, Leedskalnin, Steinmetz, Dollard, etc to name a few in this arena. We need to read things in context.

Thank you, Dave. i admire folks who defend the Lord with such zeal. I fail to see why folks become angry when Yeshua is brought up. If He disturbs anyone, skip to the next post or thread would be my suggestion. But the Christ I have come to know is so loving and forgiving (for those who repent) that I find Him and His message irresistable. I don't get mad at folks who believe differently and everyone is entitled to their opinion but it would be a travesty not to tell others about the Messiah and let them make up their own minds and hearts. He loves us even if we don't feel the same way. Hell is a place of choice where we can be forever separate and apart from Him. He doesn't send us there but allows us to choose it. Please do not be angry and shoot the humble messenger. But if you do, us real Christians will forgive you for it.
