Can a straightforward electric motor run a straighforward generator

The answer to this is clearly "No", but motors can end up connected
to generators in such a way that energy is drawn from the environment
and the motor then drives the generator to produce more out than

Maybe dubious that Motor Generator, The big question is what is in the long yellow package under the bench, seems suspicious to me. I mentioned the yellow box a while ago when this video was posted. To me it seems like it could be a string of small gell cell batteries. It's noisy too.

Isn't that the Lockridge device?

Many people on this forum have demonstrated recovering energy from coils, motors have coils, its just a matter of recovering enough energy and feeding it back to the source in a regenerative circuit and you have the solution.

If it takes 746 watts to run the motor but we can recover 400 watts, then effectively we have run the motor for 346 watts. If a generator connected to that motor produces in excess of 346 watts then we have enough energy from the generator and from recovery to run our motor. We can run a 746 watt motor and power a generator of 346 watts with no problem, the problem is a how to recover enough energy. When we pulse a motor alone there is simply not enough energy recovered.

When we pulse a coil outside of a motor we can recover almost all of the energy so it makes sense to do both at the same time thus improving the overall efficiency of recovery. This is what I believe is happening in a Lockridge device.

just to through my 2 cents in...There is also something called a Watson machine which I am currently working on in another thread, but the real authority in the area is John Bendini who frequents this site. Look over some of his designs. There are also several Youtube videos that give good visual details on how to build John's designs

Induction motor

Hi Farmhand those are the capacitors maybe to that generator. I am trying to replicate this with an induction washing machine motor. A guy on youtube told me that the multi speed induction motors are not good maybe it's true cause I tried many times to generate from it but nothing came out.
I should try on one speed motors now.

Hi Guruji, Now that I think about it they are both AC devices anyway so I suppose batteries would make no sense anyway. Seems like that would be a lot of capacitors too. So I dunno what it could be. It just looks funny, must be the modification or part of it. Hmm I have vacuum a cleaner motor I think it's a 2000 Watt one not sure of RPM though. I should try something I guess, it is interesting for sure.

Do you think a vacuum motor is OK ? I'll see if I can tell what kind of coils are in it.
