I had a dream last night that after shutting of device and lifted it up from water, water started to rotate in bucket..

This gave me a creepy feeling in my dream so i waked up

By the way I remember from dream it rotated anti clockwise??

Would this be possible in real?? Anyone??

The idea behind this was that if we have a stationary magnet but a moving field we should be able to use it. In this video I use a small aluminum bowl filled with about a cup of water and a tablespoon of baking soda. In the middle is a ring magnet that is not touching the bowl but seperated with a plastic spacer. I attach a signal generator with the leads to the bowl and one on the magnet. The yellow wire going through the black holder is a temprature probe. In the beginning of the video I try different frequencies before finding the sweet spot of 276hz sine wave although 5-8hz seems good also. The loaded readings is 40VAC, current drawn is 3.5amps and the water starts to spin counter clockwise. As you can see the temprature will start to rise it won't win any awards for high speed heating or efficiency but the principle is working. The spinning magnetic field is causing eddy currents in the aluminum which causes heating.

This was inspired from MagnetFlippers video on magnetic spin.

this is something i have been wondering for quite a while, when reading throughout all the threads dealing with coil and FE.

Many coils used un various experiment remain static, it would be nice to see what would the effect be if the fixed cores of the fixed coils were rotated at high speed (for instance in the Muller experiment )
