• Lights are created in the firmament (heaven) to divide day from night
• The greater light is for day, and the lesser for night. Stars are also created.

The circle represents the waters above being separated from the waters below.
I do not see the waters above being mentioned in the first chapter.

a fractal construct has an 'efficient function', it has a fractal ergonomy to it, they function on multiple levels and in multiple dimensions:

Fractal Constructs when joined together will adapt to enter resonance...my resonance is not the same as yours.... (when two people meet for instance)

Hey, water's on the sun.... that's not exactly the same thing!

As in my post:

waters are separated, firmament goes in-between, and sun (greater light?) goes in the firmament!

I'm not sure if we must even take these waters in this chapter literally (Seas we could take literally), maybe it's referring to something else, like matter, Aether particles....
