1. The Tong Wheel is an OPEN system. Gravitational and Electromagnetic Energy can flow in and out of this system.

The most common objection to any device that claims that the Output Energy is greater than the Input Energy is the Law of Conservation of Energy

We cannot draw any imaginary boundary to limit the gravitational field. The Sun attracts the Earth, the Earth attracts the Moon, we attract each other. When we move, there is work done as work = Force x Displacement. In other words, there is constant interchange of Gravitational energy with any object in this universe. Any interaction with the gravitational field cannot be a CLOSED system.

Electromagnetic field is similar. Electric and magnetic fields are even more powerful and complex as they can have attraction or repulsion. They can be produced artificially via electric currents or magnets. They can be produced in different directions with different magnitude. They can be turned on and off. Any object has trillions of atoms with positively charged nucleus and negatively charged electrons. Any unbalancing of these charges will produce electric fields. Any orbiting electron will produce magnetic fields. These electric or magnetic fields will interact within the object and outside the object. In other words, there is constant interchange of electric or magnet energy from any object in this universe. Any interaction with the electric or magnetic fields cannot be a CLOSED system.

a. If a horizontal push is applied to a pendulum bob, the bob will be displaced both horizontally and vertically.
b. The previous WRONG assumption by many physicists was that the energy used to raise the height of the bob (increase its potential energy) comes from the supplied horizontal energy.
c. The correct physics and mathematics explanation should be that the increase in potential energy of the bob is the bringing-in of the gravitational energy via the tension of the string.
d. For small angles, two parts of horizontal energy will bring-in one part of vertical or gravitational energy. This gives a COP = 1.5

We can change the pulse-push to a pulse-rotation for higher efficiency.

3. Pulsed rotation is the mechanism to bring-in the gravitational energy. The pulsing should be at the correct resonance frequency.The repulsion force is inversely proportional to the square of the distance. This means that the DC pulse current should be supplied as soon as the permanent magnet passes across the Proximity Switch. Fortunately, the position of the Proximity Switch was constructed so that it could vary in position and angle easily. We could experimentally tune for the best position.

The Input RMS voltage would drop appreciably at a certain position. The current and the voltage should be on for a short period and off for a longer period. This would account for the Input RMS voltage drop even though DC was used.

The best rotational speed for a certain load should be from the minimum (Input Pulse Current x time) to maintain that particular speed. In reality, the Tong Wheel (and many other similar Wheels) might use much higher than this minimum as the control mechanism was not perfect or non-existent. In the Tong Wheel, there was no feedback except that another battery could be recharged. High revolution speed is not necessary and may even diminish the efficiency.

Some hint on the amount of gravitational brought-in was from our experiments on the Bessler type Wheel. That particular wheel had two tubes with soft padding at one end. A ball was allowed to roll and fall. The force produced when hitting the hard surface was larger than that when hitting the padded surface. (Force = rate of change of momentum.)

The longest rotational time at my home in Hong Kong was achieved with two three inch narrow tubes containing salt placed at the very edge of the wheel. A larger diameter wheel was founded to be more efficient.

Gravity has only one direction and one magnitude. Its effect will be diminished when tilted at an angle. The Liang car was an example as it was stated that it would diminish in efficiency when going up an inclined surface.

At present, I do not have a formula to calculate the quantity of gravitational energy brought-in via pulsed rotation. The formula I used as a guide was that from small angle oscillation (COP = 1.5). The Tong Wheel did not rely too much on the bringing-in of gravitational energy as its efficiency was only marginally affected when tilted even to the horizontal position.

Drops of knowledge accumulated over time can fill a bucket.

The Pulse Wheel design thought is to provide the minimum Input Energy and use the bring-in energy as much as possible. The rotational speed may be much slower. It may change to match the load. A resonance condition needs to be found. That resonance condition is expected to change with different loads.

Thus the Pulse Wheel design may need a computer program to alter the pulsing rate and/or duration to match the load. I believe that this was done in the Liang Wheel and the 225 HP motor. Both claimed to have achieved hundreds of Output Horse Power.

With the Human Race, once a workable solution is found, they may ignore other better methods. In this forum, we actively seek other methods. Amen.

Switching on the coil when the magnet situated on the rotor was in the exact location (as pictured below) and turning off the drive pulse at the exact time when no longer required were the crucial principles that achieved the long sought after phenomenon (i.e. better known as the cold current reversal technique) and it appeared that any slight deviation away from these electrical characteristics would render over unity impossible.




I have continued working on and refining these principles. Now, when looking back I realize how close I had come so many times in the years gone by but not been able to recognize the elusive over unity giant even when it was staring me in the face. I am writing this report in the hope that others will pick up this research and publish papers on these principles to make these ideas commonplace. Why should I pulse rotate it?

This is an excellent question and worth some thought. Because it only works during the correct position within the magnetic field.
