    Calling all homeowners in the UK with renewable energy installed in their homes!

    Hi,

    I am a final student at the University of Plymouth and I am writing a dissertation about the motivations and barriers for homeowners installing microgeneration in their homes. If you know anyone suitable for this study, please could you forward them this short questionnaire. The findings may contribute towards increasing the amount of renewable energy sourced in the UK. Your time and answers would be greatly appreciated.

    This survey is part of a geography dissertation research project which aims to identify motivations and barriers for homeowners installing microgeneration renewable energy into their homes. This survey is comprised of 4 parts and should take no longer than 10 minutes to fill in. By taking the time to fill in this short survey you are providing valuable information that may contribute to the further development of domestic renewable energy. This project will be completed by February 2011, and if you are interested in the results of this survey or would be willing to participate in a short interview, please contact [email protected]. Please note that all information provided will be treated anonymously and with total confidentiality. You also have the right to withdraw from this study at any time and are not obliged to answer every question. For the benefit of this questionnaire, ‘household’ refers to the people that are currently residing in your home. Renewable energy is energy that comes from natural resources such as sunlight, wind etc as opposed to fossil fuels such as oil, gas or coal. Nuclear energy is not considered renewable energy.
