Very interesting ideas. I especially like the pump design. My only suggestion would be to make the stroke of the pumps as short as possible. Energy is robbed exponentially from the pendulum with a linear increase in distance traveled vertically by the axis. Large diameter, short stroke pumps would work best IMO.
I like your hammer concept too. I think you would get even more power if your impact location was shifted 180 degrees to the bottom of the stroke, where your hammer velocity is the greatest.
I look forward to seeing these work once you've built them.

Thanks Ted for your positive words and inputs.
One prototype would give the best set up on angles, weights and dimensions.
I live in Angola, Africa, where we lack everything, ( we only have few hours of electric grid, most time run on diesel generators) and is impossible to make a prototype. I tried and fail a few times.

The way to build your device is with existing and easy to obtain parts. If you have manual pumps around, adapt your principals to those pumps. You could take a standard manual well pump and just clamp a pendulum on to the handle. It takes a little more thought and ingenuity, but you seem like a clever guy.
Even here in the states, where I can get just about any material or part I want, I try and adapt what I already have to my projects to keep expenses down.
With prototypes the easy part is thinking the idea up. The hard part is making it actually work. Nevertheless, making it work is where the important learning takes place.
