It is an interesting effect.

But it only happens when I watch it spin and then you stop it,
yes it looks like there is continued motion.

When I put my hand over to the vermiculite as you spin in and when
you stop I remove my hand, the effect goes away and it is perfectly
still.

Yes, that is a very interesting optical effect.

During the first 1:06 watch the center of the gravel, then when it gets stopped, look at the top left corner of the white cutting board - the lacerations in the cutting board begin to twist and curve.

Then again between 6:55 and 7:11 my brain was able to generate sector division in the gravel with concentric circles and radials while it was turning, but only after watching the full footage. When I went back to that time frame directly, the effect was not so prominent.

I suppose its like sitting on a swivel chair and spinning around 20 or 30 times and then stopping the chair - even my cat has trouble locking in on the stationary objects - so the effect is clearly not isolated to humans. I'm sure you can find many videos on you-tube by searching "spinning cat dizzy"

There are also some illusions out there that produce a motion effect after you've seen it stop turning. It's all pretty cool.

if i imagine being underwater and the force i am trying to use is air rising, bubbles....by themselves, the bubbles can do little work, BUT just like water can be siphoned, air can be siphoned!...so now i have a means to concentrate and direct this flow of bubbles, through a hose....as long as i have a supply of air to siphon off of, the flow will continue.....OK so now think about it this way, the energy i am trying to utilize is like the rising of air, but instead of air, the flow is magnetic current...this energy, as Ed has told us, likes to flow in metal...to do this, i need a reservoir of this energy to siphon off of... this is where Eds generator comes in. when this device is spun, magnets are thrown off WITH the gravity, representing the downward flow, because there is ADDED gravity, there is also added buoyancy, like a bubble in the center of the device. right above the center, there is a small hook that i believe is a metal "hose", that is siphoning the opposite force from gravity....now i can have a concentrated flow through a wire......does this make any sense at all?...david

does anyone have a suggestion how i might show vibration or record it? i have an aluminum tube, about 36" long x 3/8"....this tube, suspended by a thread, held over my device seems to ring or resonate, it seems i feel the vibration through the string....when i move it away, it seems to stop, i move it back it vibrates?... i dont know...it is subtle, but i need better proof than just feeling, something to show that it really vibrating, if it is at all...thanks, david

Magnetism in all its variants is fascinating. I Have 'felt' massive pulses 'through' magnets into my hands before from circuits I have built and yet have NOT been able to extract 'real' electromagnetic energy with a standard coil!! Hence, I understand your frustration.

There are definitely two sides to the 'light' spectrum and science has only begun charting one of these.

Back to your query though. If you can FEEL the vibration, chances are it MIGHT be acoustic (of sorts). Thats the only way I can describe it. See if you can 'rectify' the vibration into audible noise by constructing a big paper cone with a fine needle in the narrow end of cone (like grammaphone). Then, suspend your tube independently (not by hand) over the device and then touch the needle of cone to the tube very lightly. IF there is real PHYSICAL vibration this will be picked up and amplified by the cone and you will hear it like a 'whine' (or maybe low depending on frequency) from oscillator circuit.

Once you have established the energy TYPE emitted by device, it is no difficult leap to rectify and turn into electrical current.

You will find that the energy is 'sonic' waveform and this is what the Egyptians worked with via big tuning forks. The leedskalnin wheel is a fancy way of bending the energy into a powerful stream and channeling it to accomplish work.

I love your differential thinking - that is a very interesting perspective you have there.

The reason a siphon works is because the 'weight' of the fluid in the down-pipe is greater than the weight of the fluid in the up-pipe and thus a suction is formed at the entrance to the up-pipe. And, the atmosphere surrounding the fluid must have a lower weight than the fluid, otherwise the exit of the down-pipe would have too much pressure to allow out-flow.

But you are absolutely correct, for example, we can have an elevated bowl of 'air' on a table in a vacuum, and we could siphon that down to the floor with ease.

Hot air and cold air are examples of the same fluid having vast density differences due to temperature. When we have a large layer of hot air and we place a layer of cold air on top of it, we are primed to 'drain' the cold air down to the ground surface through any weak spot in the hot air. If a puncture can occur, even a very small one, then cold air will flow down through that hole like water going down a drain, and we have the making of a tornado. The hot air rushes up and the cold air rushes down and energy is exchanged between them to power the vortex. There is no denying the extreme potentials present in any vortex.

Perhaps Leedskalnin was ensuring that a constant supply of flux was being introduced just as a tornado depends on the constant supply of cold air above the hot air to feed it. That would be a working hypothesis to test out from an electrodynamic perspective. Could the chain be a funnel to concentrate the flux into the vortex?

Yes, and you probably have all the tools to do it. Secure a small mirror to the tube. Shine your laser into the mirror at an angle so the reflection strikes a flat surface at some distance. The greater the distance the more you will magnify the representation of the vibration (of course you suffer some resolution and too far away you will lose the spot completely).

Be sure to keep your hands out of the test. Once the device is spinning and you have all the parts secure, the reflected spot on the surface will produce a pattern in accordance with the vibration. It will probably take on the form of some irregular circle or squiggly line.

it is absolutely an illusion, or better put, an optical distortion...but heres the thing, the vividness and duration of the distortion/illusion is what i am trying to show....live, i need not even turn the device, the center starts to look "watery". the same way that a mirage happens but no heat source. so what is the source of this distortion? Eds large circular PMH. his device is a separator, a means to separate the two streams. imagine the boundary layer of oil and water, a distinct layering between density's. if you had a way to start a whirlpool, at the boundary, you would see the water fill the void left, like a cone. with Eds device, as it rotated, the force we call gravity,[attraction], one pole of Eds current, is thrown off at the equator. while at the poles, extra [repulsive] force is created....i think Ed was able to "collect" this energy, where it was concentrated by centrifuge action, near the point of a cone shaped vortice, the point that would be easiest to collect....i hope someone can follow this....but yes, it is absolutely an optical distortion....david

the device was stationary, but that should do it, it might be tricky . i can try test rings/mirror at different places on the tube, to get a good effect. thanks, david

David, If you place a bowl of water in the center,will it have enough vibration to cause ripples in the water while spinning? Could it be enough to actually see the ripples forming? Any amount of vibration should affect water. Don't know if there would be enough to see it without a magnifiying glass or not.It is subtle, or seems to be, anyway. Eds generator ....an amazing device....i believe that spinning his generator creates an upsidedown vortex of energy. i think that once this vortex formed, he was able to draw this energy off, starting at the small wire hook[siphon]...once the up flow energy was being drawn off, more of the equatorial [down flow] energy can be thrown off, to be collected at the ground rod and magnet....around my devices, all matter seems to feel "magnetic", or like it is being pushed or pulled in an odd way, this makes sense if you think about it....at the equatorial plane i can feel a pushing away, but at the poles i feel a pulling down...now there must be opposites to these, an extra flow up at the poles, opposite the down flow ...if Ed was collecting this energy, the easiest place to draw it off would be at the very tip of the vortex, now if he did this he could get the flow to perpetuate....AND separate and utilize the upflow of energy...david

that might work except the spot where i [seem] to feel the vibration in the tube is above the device 10 or 12 inches... the device is not spinning to feel the vibration. i am trying different materials, what i NEED is a set of tuning forks or an adjustable one to perhaps tune in the vibration, if there is indeed vibration, and then if i could feel vibration in a tuning fork, THEN put a mirror on it and use the laser to confirm actual vibration.... i still feel like FLIR will expose this energy field. i was watching a video about FLIR, and fumes from a solvent were totally visible.... the energy around my devices looks similar to fumes.....thanks for your help with this!
